Transport and storing

Assembly and preparations
Connection to battery
Before connecting the pump, it is necessary to ensure that the pump is switched off and the 12 V battery charged up. Connect the red cable to anode and the black cable to cathode of the battery.
Installation
The pump is an electric equipment to be installed at a protected place not exposed to climatic influences. The pump should be installed at a dry place with good ventilation. The pump should also be installed on a flat and fixed base. It is necessary to keep the minimum distance from walls so that any interventions at using and maintenance would be made easy. The electric pump is to be installed as close to the oil sucked in as possible (maximum distance of 4 m).
Putting the diesel pump into operation
Cut the hose (3) off in the length required. (for the suction hose, a length of 2 metres and for the pressure hose, a length of 2 metres as well are recommended.) Fix the filter foot valve (5) to the end of the suction hose (2 m) and secure with one of the clips (4). Connect the pressure hose to the pumping gun (2) and secure with one of the clips (4). Tighten the connecting neck thread (6) with a hemp or teflon tape and screw to the filling hole (11). Secure the open end of the suction hose according to the above-mentioned description.
Deaeration
Unscrew the deaeration plug (12) and pump body and fill the suction hose
completely through the discharge outlet (10). Tighten the connecting neck
thread (6) and screw to the discharge outlet (10). Secure then the open end of
the pressure hose (see the above-mentioned description). Finally, tighten
again the deaeration plug thread (12) and screw on. Start the engine and
trigger the pumping gun. Repeat the procedure if necessary!
Tip :
To avoid repeated deaeration, the tank with liquid must not be sucked up to
the bottom.
Important:
- The pump is very sensitive when there are air bubbles in the suction area. It is therefore important to follow the instructions as much as possible to prevent unnecessary problems.
- The suction height of 2 m must not be exceeded.
- The tank must not be sucked up to the bottom as the entire deaeration process would have to be repeated.
- The pump must not run against pressure for more than 3 minutes.
- Check the tightness of the hose clips.
- Tighten well all thread joints.
- Carefully fill the pump and suction hose
- The pump must be switched off immediately after pumping!
- Never let the pump unattended during operation. We do not guarantee for indirect damages! To prevent the so-called siphon effect, the pump and pressure hose must in principle be higher than the tank with liquid.

Never clean the appliance under running water or rinsing water. Do not use any aggressive cleaners or hard objects for cleaning as they can damage the appliance. Occasionally clean the appliance with a damp cloth. The pump does not require any special maintenance. The suction and pressure tubes must always be free of any foreign bodies and must always be kept clean. Regularly check the hose clips and pressure hoses
Failure identification
Any reprints, even partial, are subject to approval. Technical changes reserved . Illustration pictures.
Problems | Possible causes | Measures |
---|---|---|
Pump does not turn | 1. No voltage |
2. Wrong battery connection.
3. Battery too weak or flat.
| 1. Check the voltage and ensure terminal tighting.
2. Check the connection (red on plus, black on minus)
3. Charge or replace the battery.
Pump turns but does not pump oil.| 1. Air in the pump body| 1. Deaerate (see
the putting into operation part)
| 2. Pump sucks air from filling tube.| 2. Check the tightness of the
outlet hose. The outlet hose must be fully plunged in liquid and must not have
any throttling places or siphons. Keep the
maximum filling height.
Thermal protection stops the pump due to overheating.| 1. Supply does not correspond to the engine data label.
2. Any foreign body has blocked the impellor.
| 1. Check the network voltage
2. Remove the suction tube and remove the foreign body.
| 3. Pump has been running dry or with closed discharge outlet for more than 15 minutes.| 3. Let the pump cool down and then start again. Check whether the mechanical seal has not
been damaged during that time.
