We would like to thank you for choosing the PureAir room air purifier by reer. PureAir improves air quality and provides you and your family with cleaner air at home. This room air purifier functions using the latest ion technology that increases air quality in closed rooms. Allergens, viruses, mould, fine dust or even harmful gases produced by furniture, paint and smoke pollute room air. These harmful agents are invisible and have a neutral smell; however, they are still harmful to health. PureAir effectively absorbs these harmful agents from the air, and gives back clean and disinfected air.
Please take a few minutes to read through the safety instructions carefully. Please adhere to all of the guidelines provided here when using PureAir. Please keep the instruction manual in a safe place for future reference.

General safety instructions

Caution:

• !!Do not submerge the device, its power cord or plug in wa-ter or other liquids, or flammable cleaning agents, in order to avoid the risk of electric shock and/or fire.
• Never open the device or the mains adapter, as there is a risk of electric shock. If a unit does not work correctly, please do NOT try to fix the problem yourself. Please contact your dealer with any problems. Non-compliance voids the warranty.

Warning:

• Please use the product only for its intended purpose.
• Use the device exclusively in the home for its intended purpose. This device is not intended for commercial use.
• This product is not a toy! Do not allow children to play with the unit.
• The device should be kept away from children under the age of 3. Check the unit and its adapter for visible damage before every use. If you find any damage, do not use this device. Avoid extreme heat and direct sunlight.
• Avoid bringing the electrical connection terminals of the units into contact with metal objects.
• Make sure that the air intake and exhaust holes are not covered. Do not place any objects on and/or in front of the device.

Caution:

• The device cannot replace appropriate ventilation, regular vacuum-cleaning or the use of an extractor fan/proper ventilation while cooking.
• Please use a correctly connected power socket for the device. If it is not properly connected, the plug of the device will become hot.
• Make sure that there is a clearance of at least 30 cm around the device.
• Do not use the device near gas-operated devices, heating devices or open fireplaces.
• The device does not remove carbon monoxide (CO) or radon (Rn). It must not be used as a safety device to protect against accidents involving combustion processes and hazardous chemicals.

Scope of application

• Children’s rooms, bedrooms and living rooms accommodate, among other things, electric devices that produce fine dust, and have allergens produced by animals and plants, as well as dust in the air.
• Sanitary rooms such as bathrooms and toilets without a separate ventilation connection. Due to heat and high air humidity, these rooms breeding grounds for germs and bacteria.
• Kitchens, which produce not only cooking smells, but also smoke and grease in the air.

The PureAir room air purifier will be useful in any room that has a large amount of allergens in the air, benefiting people suffering from conditions such as asthma, bronchitis or a weakened immune system. It purifies the air and removes not only harmful viruses and bacteria, but also fine dust and harmful gases, and even smoke. PureAir is recommended for the entire family, because it produces clean air and makes it easier to breathe.

Scope of delivery

Before first use:
Remove all packaging. Before starting up the device, check if the voltage specified on the bottom of the device matches the local voltage. Plug the device into the appropriate socket, allowing for a clearance of at least 30 cm. After the device is plugged in, it will start up automatically, and the sensor will emit a blue light.

Applying the sticker:
You may optionally place the sticker included with the device onto its front side, to make its appearance more child-friendly, helping create a pleasant sleeping mood at night.
The surface to which the vinyl sticker is to be applied must first be cleaned and degreased. To do this, put some window cleaning fluid on a soft cloth and use it to clean the place where you intend to put the sticker. Remove the transfer film from the sticker and position the sticker in the desired location. Use a plastic scraper to apply the sticker without leaving any air bubbles. Then slowly remove the carrier paper.

Product function

Air circulation : You can determine the duration of the air purification process by pressing and releasing the button. You can switch between three options here: on/off, hour timer or continuous operation.

Timer function (blue): The device switches off automatically after 1 hour and reactivates if there is movement in the detection range of the sensor.

Continuous mode (green): The device runs continuously until it is switched off by pressing the button.

Nightlight : Hold down the O button and choose between 3 brightness levels; continue to hold the button to switch the nightlight off. In the following cycle, select OFF, LOW, MID, HIGH, REPEAT.
The nightlight switches on automatically after 5 minutes in low light conditions. The nightlight reactivates if there is movement in the detection range of the sensor.

Caution: The nightlight has a twilight sensor, and only provides lighting in darkness.
After a power failure, or after the device is disconnected from the power source, all the functions are automatically reset to the factory settings.

Storage and care

Remove the device from the power socket and clean the device with a dry or damp cloth only. Do not use a wet cloth or cleaning agents. Cleaning agents that contain solvents can corrode and damage the surface material. Liquids must not enter the interior of the device. The ventilation slits can be easily cleaned of any dust with a soft brush. Because the device contains no additional filters, no filter replacement is necessary. This means that the device is maintenance-free. Store the device in a dry and secure place, out of the reach of children.

Environmental protection:
At the end of its life, this product must not be disposed of as normal domestic waste, but should be recycled at a collection point for electrical appliances. Please see the relevant symbol on the product, in the user manual and packaging. Materials can be recycled as specified. Do not put used batteries into household waste. Instead, they should be disposed of as hazardous waste or with a battery collection station provided by the dealer. An important contribution to the protection of the environment can be made by reusing the unit, recycling its components or otherwise reusing old appliances. Please contact your local council to find out more about an appropriate disposal centre.

Please retain your receipt, the user manual and item number. Warranty claims or claims from promises of guarantee must be processed by the dealer.
