INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: When using outdoors basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. Install in accordance with these instructions and current electrical codes such as the National Electric Code (NEC).
When used outdoors in Wet Locations, Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter protection (GFCI) is to be provided on the circuits or outlets. Extension cords rated for outdoor use must be used, such as type: H03VV-F, H03V2V2-F, H05VV-F, H05V2V2-F, H03VVH2-F, H03V2V2H2-F, H05VVH2-F or H05V2V2H2-F.
The receptacle cover should always be in place to prevent the entry of water (unless a plug is inserted).
Caution: Risk of Electric Shock. Avoid making connections or disconnections when the equipment is wet. Do not use with extension cord near or where water may accumulate. Do not submerse. Keep lamps at least 16 feet from pools and spas. Keep receptacles dry.
CAUTION-To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons:
- Commercial Grade String Light is intended for installation indoor or outdoor.
- String Lights must be supported by steel guide cables or other suitable supporting hardware such as s-hooks, screw hooks or zip ties (not included) whenever span distances exceed twenty four feet. See Installation Methods on reverse.
- Light sockets must be installed base up so that bulbs are facing down ONLY.
- Keep combustible material clear of bulbs. Do NOT allow lamps or sockets to come into contact with walls, fabrics associated with shades, blinds or other materials. Lamps should hang freely in a downward direction with a minimum of 3’’space from the nearest object.
- Do not cluster the bulbs.
- Not intended for installation in ceilings, soffits, cabinets or other enclosed spaces.
- Do NOT secure light string to buildings or other structural supports using nails, staples or other sharp, conducting materials. DO NOT DAMAGE THE WIRE.
- Avoid damage to the insulation during installation. Do NOT pierce or other wise compromise wire’s or socket’s outer covering, jacket or sheathing.
- Periodically inspect wire and sockets for degradation due to weather, UV light or other damage. Promptly replace worn out light string.
- DO NOT EXCEED 1100 WATTS, ALL SETS COMBINED. SEECHART ON REVERSE.

Disconnect power at source prior to wiring, re-lamping or servicing in any
way.
The light string kits are supplied with an attached two prong plug that will
only fit into a two prong outlet.
Do not alter the plug.

Attached to a Structure
RE-LAMPING STRING LIGHTS
WARNING-RISK OF ELECTRICSHOCK!! Disconnect power at source prior to re- lamping String Lights.
For outdoor String Lights, do NOT re-lamp light strings during rain or when wet.
- Re-lamp String Lights only during dry and calm weather conditions.
- Unscrew existing lamps by lightly holding the socket in one hand and twisting the lamp counterclockwise. Lamps may be tight in the sockets. This is normal to prevent moisture from getting into socket.
- Replace with medium base lamp. Screw bulb into socket clockwise until top of socket forms a tight seal around bulb and bulb makes solid contact with socket. Do not exceed 1100 watts all sets combined. Suitable for Incandescent, CFL, LED or CCL lamps.
