OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Remove all the packing material and take out the appliance with its accessories. Remove all possible adhesive films, stickers or paper from the appliance. Before first using the appliance wash all the parts that will come into contact with foodstuffs in warm water with detergent, rinse thoroughly with clean water and wipe dry. Whenever working with the appliance do not forget to put the antiskid pad D under the glass vessel. The glass vessel C is suitable for use in a microwave oven.
Sickle-shaped knife (E)
Be careful, the blades of the knife are very sharp! Do not use the knife for
processing washy pastes!
The knife is designed for cutting (grinding), mixing all kinds of fruit,
vegetables, and meat, and preparing purées. Seize the knife E for its upper
plastic part, take off the protective cover and insert the knife into central
shaft C1 inside vessel C (Fig. 2a). Give the foodstuffs in the vessel. Put the
cover B upon the vessel (Fig. 3). Insert the driving unit A to cover B so that
it is locked in the cover. By pressing switch A1 the appliance starts to run
(Fig. 4).
The number of foodstuffs and orientation times for processing are given in the
Table. After having finished the work, remove the knife in the opposite way.
Recommendation
Cut the big pieces of foodstuffs into cubes of dimension at about 3 x 3 x 3
cm. When processing hard cheese, work only for a short time. During long work,
the cheese could become warm and get lumped. Never use the sickle-shaped knife
to cut materials
like coffee beans or ice cubes! The knife would unnecessarily get blunt soon.
If it is necessary, stop the work, switch off the appliance and remove the
foodstuffs, which are stuck on the knife or on the walls of the vessel (see
section I. SECURITY ADVICE).
Whipper extension (F)
Whipper extension is used to whip eggs, egg white, double cream, and dessert
creams. Do not use the whipper extension to whip any dough!
Insert the whipper extension F to the central shaft C1 inside vessel C (Fig.
2b). Put or pour the material in a maximum volume of 200 ml into the vessel.
Put cover B on the vessel. Put the driving unit A to cover B so that it is
locked within the cover. By pressing switch A1 you will get the appliance into
operation (Fig. 4). The volumes of foodstuffs and
orientation processing times are given in the Table. After having finished the
work, remove the whipper extension in the opposite way.
Recommendations
Use the materials of room temperature for whipping. If the whipping is not
optimal, check whether the whipping extension is not oily, and eventually add
a little of lemon juice or of salt. When whipping cream, cool down at least to
6 °C.
Switch (A1)
When working, hold with one hand the driving unit and press the switch with
the other hand. The maximum time of continuous operation is 30 seconds, after
keeping a pause for 2 minutes, which is necessary to cool down the driving
unit. While processing, we recommend using the pulses of operation. One pulse
is 5 seconds at maximum. Process the foodstuffs as long till you will be
satisfied with the result.
Security device (A2)
It would prevent the operation of the appliance if the accessories E, F, cover
B and driving unit A were not correctly set upon the vessel or it would stop
the appliance if driving unit A was removed from the vessel during the
operation. Here are some examples of processing, which can serve as an
inspiration. Their goal is not to give instructions but to show various
possibilities to process the foodstuffs. Times of processing are given in
seconds.
MAINTENANCE
Before any maintenance and cleaning disconnect the appliance from the electric power supply by pulling out the plug from the socket! Do not use rough and aggressive detergents! Clean the driving unit with a damp wiper with detergent. Wash other used accessories in warm water with detergent (you can use the dishwasher). If you remove the sealing B2 from cover B, while washing, put the sealing back in the opposite way, as soon as it is washed and dried. When cleaning the sickle-shaped knife, work very carefully. Pay attention that the cutting edges of the knife do not come in contact with hard objects which blunt them and thus their effectiveness is decreased. Some ingredients can stain the accessories in a certain way. However, it has no effect to the operation of the appliance and such staining disappears during a certain time. Never dry the molded plastic pieces beyond the heat sources (e.g. stove, kitchen stove, radiator).
ENVIRONMENT
Printed signs of materials used for manufacture, packing, components, and accessories, as well as their recycling, are on all the pieces if their dimensions enable it.
