Part 1 Attaching the Rear Trailer Camera

1.       Remove the 4 Allen screws that are located on the sides of the camera. Then remove the camera mounting bracket and visor.

2.       Find an appropriate place to mount the back- up camera. Line up the foot bracket to ensure that there is enough space to attach the cam- era to the body.

3.       Attach the mounting foot using either self-tap- ping screws or a bolt and nut.

4.       Use a 1” hole saw to drill a hole for the camera harness.

5.       Feed the harness through the drilled hole, fit the grommet to the inside of the hole. De- pending on the installation, the grommet may not be water tight. Use of silicone or other sealing agents is always recommended.

6.       Reattach camera and visor to the mounting bracket. Make sure the camera is oriented UP by seeing the light sensor on the left side of the camera when looking at it.

NOTE: If you do not wish to drill holes in the visible space of the factory bumper or trailer, you can attach the included L brackets in your desired location at the back of the vehicle or front of trailer and mount the plugs directly to the L bracketbumper or trailer, you can attach the included brackets in your desired location at the back of the vehicle or front of trailer and mount the plugs directly to the L bracket

Part 3 Installing the Vehicle Harness and Plug (without L brackets)

1.       Using the included template, drill a 1” hole fac- ing the rear of the vehicle’s bumper to mount the vehicle plug. Look behind the bumper or bumper cover to make sure there is nothing on the backside of where the plug is going to go.

2.       Using the same template, drill two 3/16” holes for the mounting screws. If you are using the online instructions and do not have a tem- plate, you can insert the plug to mark your hole locations, remove the plug, and drill your 3/16” holes

3.       Unwind your two 10m harnesses that are attached to the plug and feed through the 1” hole.

4.       Attach the plug to the vehicle by removing the 2 nuts and washers. Then attach the plug to the vehicle and secure it with the original washers and nuts.

5.       Run the harness from the rear of the truck to the area where the mirror is located. If you have a second camera mounted on the trailer, you will need to run both harnesses. If not, we still recommend running the cables together in case an additional camera is installed at a later time.

6.       Connect the 4-pin connector to the mirror harness 4-pin connector.
