JOHNSON SYSTEMS INC. (JSI) products and boxed goods may be sold factory direct
in geographical locations without supporting dealers. JSI encourages all
customers to purchase through a JSI dealer wherever possible especially if
system integration and a high level of product service and support are
desired. JSI reserves the right to direct any sale to the nearest supporting
dealer and/or authorized service provider. Some products are Priced On
Application (POA) and may require the technical expertise of certain
“Authorized Dealers”. All POA equipment quotes must be registered with
applicable project name and location. Please contact your JSI dealer for
pricing or JSI Sales directly for pricing, quotation and project registration
via e-mail at [email protected]. We request at least 48 hours
notification to provide formal quotation on POA products please. All factory
direct sales must be paid in full including shipping charges prior to
shipping. Payment will be accepted via Visa, MasterCard, American Express,
certified check or bank wire only. A 3.5% fee will apply for major credit
cards payments exceeding $2,500.00.
Orders
We try our best to ship all orders within three to five (3 – 5) business days
from receipt of purchase order or payment. Some equipment is built to suit and
requires additional lead time. Additional notice is always appreciated! All
orders require either e-mailed or faxed order details clearly stating the full
and complete JSI part number as detailed in the catalog or website. Orders
received that do not clearly specify the exact part and color may result in
order processing delays. Sorry, no hold-for-release orders on “boxed goods”,
hold-for-release orders will only be considered for “systems”. The minimum
order amount is $250.00 excluding freight. All “boxed good” sales are final.
It is the responsibility of the purchasing party to ensure the correct
equipment is being ordered. JSI’s sole responsibility shall be to replace or
repair any product which has been deemed defective upon inspection by JSI or
authorized agent during the warranty period (also see page 35 – Warranty).
Shipping
We try our best to ship all orders within three to five (3 – 5) business days
from receipt of purchase order or payment. In addition to a full and complete
shipping address (PO Boxes are not acceptable), US Homeland Security
Regulations require the consignee’s Federal Tax Identification Number or
E.I.N. JSI manufactured products are usually shipped based on their weight and
required delivery date. JSI receives volume discount pricing on air transport
service. To minimize cost and paperwork, please let us take care of the
shipping cost and add to your invoice. No mark-up applies; this reduced
shipping cost is simply passed on to the purchasing party. This is the most
efficient and reliable way for us to ship product. Collect shipments may not
be possible with certain carriers. Expedited shipments can be arranged for an
additional charge.

DMX Snapshot and Multi-Zone Controls
PresidorTM Wall Stations (PWS) represent the next step in
Architainment Lighting Controls. Intuitive operation is coupled
with state-of-the-art capacitive touch technology permitting
powerful distributed lighting controls for single or multi-room environments. Attractive 1 gang “Patent Pending” design
is supported by color-matched adapter plates up to 7 gang and surface mount back boxes. Up to 70 presets on one
universe of DMX512, a PWS can operate as either a DMX console or a DMX snapshot/playback device. Flexible and
programmable auxiliary contact input and real-time scheduling allow for a myriad of interface possibilities with Building
Management and Show Control systems. Wiring topology is fast, simple and inexpensive with standard Cat5/5e or Cat6
cabling using standard RJ-45 connectors. Daisy-chain up to 15 stations per room for multi-room environments of up to
25 rooms when used with PresidorTM Room Linker/Combiners (PRLC).

PresidorTM Room Linker/Combiner (PRLC-4)
PresidorTM Room Linker/Combiner (PRLC-4) is an intelligent multi-port DMX512
merger designed as the “hub” for the PresidorTM Wall Stations (PWS). PRLC-4
will allow input streams of DMX512 data to be merged when contact inputs are
“patched” to create a larger room/zone. Each PRLC-4 will support up to 4
rooms/zones of PWS wall stations (DMX512) with isolated DMX inputs and an
integrated 48VDC power supply to each room/zone. Multiple PRLC-4’s (maximum 8)
can be cascaded together with RJ45 connection to permit up to 25 rooms/zones
of PWS controls merged into a single DMX512 output. Field connections are
either via RJ45 with Cat5/5e/6 wiring or terminal block over existing Belden
9773 wiring. Four (4) programmable maintained dry-contact inputs permit PWS
(PresidorTM Wall Station) linking in any possible room/zone combination. At
only 1RU in height the PRLC-4 will fit in any standard 19″ rack or can be
supplied with a small purpose built 19″ wall mount rack (PRLCR-4U).

PresidorTM LED Dimmers & Relays Racks
New for 2022! PresidorTM Lighting Racks permit a selection of both LED dimmer and relays in the same enclosure for highly efficient and cost-effective installations. DMX input with optional DIN rail node allows for wide application in two rack sizes. Small racks are available in either 8 or 12 channels while the large rack supports up the 24 channels. The large rack also has an optional splitter panel with local 3 pole 40 Amp disconnect breaker for larger installations. Racks can be ordered custom built with the modules of choice pre-installed at the factory in the chosen order. Module choices are quad dimmer, quad relay or dual relay.
Intelligent dimmers are state-of-the-art reverse phase controlled rated at 600W and will dim both LED and incandescent loads over a full range of dimming (1-100% DMX). Air-gap relays are triggered ON/OFF at selectable DMX% thresholds from 10-90%. 0-10VDC analog outputs can be programmed as source or sink to permit direct drive of analog ballasts. Sensing protection on all circuits includes overload, short-circuit, temperature, over-voltage, inductive load and more. Both LED indication and real time error reporting back to the command control provide advanced feature reporting normally only found in very expensive dimmers.
The PresidorTM Command Controller provides a full color, capacitive touch GUI for ease of set up and automatic error reporting. Intuitive operation and smart capabilities make these racks unique.
Reverse phase LED dimmers and air-gap relays in one rack. Dimmers employ MOSFET power outputs for unsurpassed dimming efficiency (99%). Modular design permits ease of rack configuration. DMX input with optional Ethernet node. Analog 0-10VDC source or sink on the relay outputs.

Retrofit PresidorTM LED Dimmer Modules
120VAC LED Dimmers for Strand CD80 Supervisor and C21 Dimmer Racks. Employing
next-generation MOSFET power devices, these Dimmer Modules are designed for
direct plug into any dual 2.4KW rack slots. These modules provide a fast
conversion to state-of-the-art LED dimming boasting dimming efficiency of 99%.
Leveraging the same intelligent control circuitry as used in the PresidorTM
LED Dimmer Racks, these modules are controlled with our CD-3000 processors for
state-of-the-art dimming.
Each dimmer module contains two isolated, reverse phase controlled dimmers
rated at 600 Watts and will dim both LED and incandescent loads over a full
range of dimming (1-100% DMX). Unique digital curve selection allows for user
selectable low end curve setting. Sensing protection on each dimmer includes
overload, shortcircuit, temperature, over-voltage, inductive load and more.
RGB LED indication permits fast diagnosis of any load error events.
Each module contains two 600 Watt reverse phase dimmers. Chokeless MOSFET
power outputs for unsurpassed dimming efficiency (99%). Dims both LED and
Incandescent loads from 1-100% DMX. Intelligent load sensing. Instant software
load shut-off for short-circuit, overload, over-temp, inductive load, and
more. Ultra-low standby power for “Green” compliancy. RGB LED feedback for
fast diagnosis of load. UL489 10 Amp Breaker.

Universal Dimmer Controller
A 19″ rack mount version of the CD-3000+ provides a universal brain transplant for virtually anyone’s aging dimmer rack that utilizes pulse width modulation (PWM) for forward phase control of standard solid-state relay (SSR) driven dimmers. Contains all standard CD-3000+ features including dual DMX inputs, optional ethernet input, analog inputs, dry contact inputs and more. Measuring only 3 RU’s in height, this unit will control up to 96 dimmers via terminal block or RJ45 connector for ease of remote wiring between the CD-3000+ and the dimmer rack. An optional 4RU wall mount enclosure is available for a fast, low-profile professional installation.

Limited Warranty
JOHNSON SYSTEMS INC. (JSI) products are manufactured to the highest possible
standards. JSI warrants all manufactured “finished goods” to the original
purchaser for a period of two (2) years. Warranty on “system level” product is
contingent on the purchase and installation through an authorized JSI dealer
or agent. This warranty is limited to the product only and that the product
shall be free from any defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal
usage and service. Warranty is also limited and subject to full compliance
with the supplied installation procedures. JSI reserves the right to validate
warranty claims at its sole unfettered discretion. JSI’s sole responsibility
under this warranty shall be to replace or repair any product which has been
deemed defective upon inspection by JSI or authorized agent. This warranty is
contingent on full compliance with the terms of payment as shown in “Terms and
Conditions” below. This warranty is in lieu of any and all other warranties or
claims expressed or implied including those of product application or other
liabilities or obligations on the part of JSI.
Extended Warranties
Extended warranties are available on select “system products” and cover repair
or exchange of parts as determined by JSI technical staff, shipping excluded.

details. Extended warranties must be purchased at the time of original
purchase.
Terms & Conditions · Credit Account Dealers
Payment terms are net 45 days from ship date on approved/active Dealer credit
accounts. By the issuance of a purchase order, a Dealer agrees to the
preceding payments terms as outlined on page 3. JSI reserves the right to
withhold any/all performance on outstanding accounts which are not paid in
full and timely compliance within the agreed payment terms unless negotiated
prior to order. New dealers and dealers not maintaining a credit account in
good standing with regular orders will automatically have their account
shifted to Cash Dealer without notice and be required to prepay orders.
Payment via check (precleared), bank wire or credit card prior to shipping
shall be required for Cash Dealers. It is the purchasing parties’
responsibility to ensure the correct equipment is ordered with the correct
model/part number. JSI will not assume any responsibility for incorrectly
ordered equipment. Possession of this catalog does not constitute an offer to
sell. This catalog supersedes all previous catalogs. All product prices,
models, descriptions and specifications contained in this document are subject
to change without notice.
Returns & Credits
All returns must be pre-authorized and a Return Material Authorization number
(RMA#) issued. The RMA will contain important information that MUST appear on
the commercial invoice necessary to ship internationally (including US
customers). Failure to follow the instructions contained in the RMA may result
in additional charges to JSI and charged back to the dealer. The RMA# should
be clearly marked on the outside of the box. Any shipment received without
pre-authorization and RMA issued may be refused and returned to sender. Some
products including many “boxed good” products and support parts are non-
returnable. Product returns, where applicable, must be within thirty (30) days
of ship date and still in the original unopened packaging. Equipment that has
been powered up or installed, even temporarily is not returnable. Product
being returned for refund credit will be subject to a restocking fee of 20% of
the invoice amount. Non-warranty repairs shall be billable as a flat-rate
repair at 25% of the retail price if the product is deemed repairable at JSI’s
sole discretion. Certain products may not be repairable and/or replacement may
be recommended. Recycling Credit
· A recycling/core credit of $2,000.00 is available on select POA products if
the old processor core is received prepaid at the provided US recycling
address within 45 days of order. No core, no credit!

Shipping
Due to US Homeland Security Regulations, all US shipments require the
consignee’s Federal Tax Identification Number or E.I.N. JSI manufactured
products are usually shipped based on their weight and required delivery date.
JSI receives volume discount pricing on air transport service. To minimize
cost and paperwork, we ask that you please let us take care of the shipping
cost and add to your invoice. No mark up applies; this reduced shipping cost
is simply passed on to the dealer. Drop shipments are no problem! Collect
shipments may not be possible with certain carriers. Sorry, we cannot ship
UPS. Expedited shipments can be arranged for an additional charge. Customer
direct drop shipments are no problem!
