Battery Replacement
Battery Powered – Requires three (3) “C” batteries for the “Sound Box” and three (3) “AAA” batteries for the Wireless Remote Control. Please note that the batteries are included with your purchase.
To Replace Sound Box Battery:
- Remove battery case cover. Battery case is located in the bottom of the hanging reaper. Please open the hook and loop closure and use a screwdriver to remove the safety screw and then remove the battery compartment cover (See diagram).
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Insert 3 “C” batteries with correct polarity and replace cover and safety screw.
- Turn switch to the “ON” position.
Replace batteries if the lights become dim or sound is distorted or faint.
To Replace the Remote Control Batteries:
- Remove the battery compartment case cover which is located on the back of the remote control.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Insert 3 “AAA” batteries with correct polarity and replace cover and safety screw.
Replace batteries if the Remote signal become weak.
To Activate Sound Box:
The ON/OFF switch is located on the sound box at the bottom of the head. Move
the switch to the “ON” position to activate the sound box so it will interact
with the remote control. Switch to “OFF” and remove batteries when not in use.
To Activate Remote Control:
Press the “LEFT” button to activate the LED lights.
Press the “RIGHT” button to activate the lights and the sounds.
( Important: The maximum remote activation distance is 20 ft.)

BATTERIES SHOULD BE REMOVED AND REPLACED BY ADULTS ONLY.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc.) batteries.
- To avoid the possibility of explosion or leakage, do not dispose of batteries in a fire or attempt to recharge standard or alkaline batteries.
- Be sure to insert batteries with correct polarities and always follow the product and battery manufacturer’s instructions.
- Remove batteries and store them in a cool, dry place when not in use.

- Do not use near water, such as a bathtub, laundry tub, kitchen sink, swimming pool or other areas where open water is stored.
- Do not display reaper near any heat source, such as a radiator, stove, fireplace, etc.
- Display should only be serviced by a qualified service technician.
- Take extra care when displaying any figure that contains small parts around small children.
- Use of the reaper should always be under the supervision of an adult.
- Remove batteries when not in use or when storing the reaper.
CAUTION: Please remove batteries if their power is consumed or if the
product is to be left unused for a long period of time.

Set-Up Instructions

Step. 1: Carefully remove product from package. Properly discard any fasteners, bags or tags with care.
CAUTION: Be sure to remove the remote control from the packaging. -
Step. 2: Carefully lay-out the 12 foot Reaper and the “hanging cords” in an open area adjacent to where you plan on hanging the Reaper.
CAUTION: This is a large display piece and we advise that at least two people assist in the hanging of the display. Be sure to use a stable and secure ladder when hanging the display. -
Step. 3: Before hanging the display, activate the sound box by switching to the “ON” position. This will allow the Reaper to interact with the remote control.

Step. 4: The hanging cords that are included with the Reaper can be secured or tied to a stable overhead support. Make sure that whatever the Reaper is secured to is strong enough to support the weight of the Reaper.

Step. 5: Test the remote control system from the required distance between the remote and the Reaper.
Important: The maximum remote activation distance is 20 ft.
Note: If you plan on suspending your Reaper from a ceiling, we suggest that you use ¼ inch “eye screws” and securely attach to the ceiling. Use heavy duty tie cords to secure the Reaper to the eye screws and make sure that the eye screws are securely anchored into “solid” material strong enough to support the weight of the Reaper. Please note that “eye screws” are not included with the Reaper.
