SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the instructions carefully before using the device.

  • This appliance is intended for household or similar use, such as:
    – Kitchen spaces for staff in shops, offices, and other work environments;
    – Farms;
    – Customers in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments;
    – Bed and breakfast type environments.

  • Do not use this device outdoors. This appliance should not be exposed to rain or moisture.

  • Packaging materials (wrapping paper, polystyrene) can be dangerous for children. There is a risk of suffocation! Keep packing materials out of the reach of children!

  • This device can be used by children from 8 years of age and over and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of experience and knowledge
    provided they have received supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the device and understand the dangers involved. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.

  • Make sure that children cannot play with the appliance.

  • Keep the device and its cord out of the reach of children under 8 years old.

  • Do not leave the appliance unattended when plugged in.

  • Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the electrical voltage in your home matches that indicated on the rating plate of the appliance.

  • To avoid electric shock, never immerse the power cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid.

  • Do not handle the appliance or the plug with wet hands.

  • Always unplug your appliance after each use and allow it to cool before cleaning, storing, or moving it.

  • When disconnecting the cable, always pull it at the plug, do not pull on the cable itself.

  • When using the device, unroll always completely power cord in order to avoid overheating the device.

  • Do not use the device: – If the plug or the power cable is damaged, – In the event of a malfunction, – If the device has been damaged in any way, – If he fell into the water, – If you let it down. Take it to a service center where it will be inspected and repaired. No repair can be done by the user.

  • WARNING ! Make sure there is sufficient air circulation above and around the appliance. Make sure the appliance does not come into contact with a wall, curtains, towel or other flammable material. The device must be supervised during use.

  • Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the device.

  • This appliance is not intended to be operated by an external timer or by a separate remote control system.

  • The surfaces of the device are liable to reach high temperatures during use.

  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles or knobs.

  • Unplug the machine from the power outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the device to cool before installing/removing parts or
    cleaning.

  • The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in operation, in particular its upper part.

  • A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of falling or becoming entangled by a longer cord. Extension cords should be used with caution and the electrical ratings shown on them should be at least equivalent to those of this appliance. The extension must never hang over the counter or the worktop. Children could shoot or trip
    over it.

  • For detailed information on how to clean surfaces in contact with food, please refer to the “Cleaning and maintenance” section of the manual.

Suitable for cooking food

IMPORTANT
It is absolutely forbidden to replace the power cable yourself. Device overview

  • Unpack the device. Remove all labels from the product. Please check its completeness and if it is in good condition. If the device is damaged or malfunctions, do not use it and return it to your dealer or service center.

  • Keep all packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of accidents if children play with the packaging materials.
    Intended use

  • This appliance is a multi-function meat grill intended for household use. It is not suitable for industrial or professional use.

  • Any other use may damage the device or cause injury.
    Before first use

  • Always use this device on a flat horizontal surface.

  • Avoid using the appliance under or near curtains or other combustible materials. Never place the device under a cupboard or near a wall (risk of heat damage).

  • Remove the plate from the grill by pressing the release button.

  • Before using it for the first time, clean the grill plate with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent. Then dry the plates thoroughly.

  • Insert the meat grill plate, and make sure the meat grill plate fits properly in place.

  • The meat grill plate has two sides, one is grooved side, and the other is a flat side like the picture below; choose the desired side when inserting the plate.

  • Make sure that the drip tray is correctly inserted at the back of the appliance.

  • Connect the plug to a properly installed outlet, make sure the voltage matches your household power supply.
    Remark:
    ✓ Food should be completely thawed before grilling using this product.
    ✓ As is the case with all new heating elements, your appliance may emit a slight burning smell when it is first turned on. This is a normal phenomenon and is not a cause for concern or an anomaly. Operate the device a few times. This approach reduces unpleasant odors.

USAGE

  1. Plug in the appliance, a beep will sound, and all the LEDs will come on and then go off. The screen displays “OFF”.
  2. Select the cooking function (Upper + Lower cooking / Upper cooking / Lower cooking) by pressing the corresponding button; ” ” “ ” the default time and temperature appear on the screen.
  3. Push the button ” ” to start preheating. The appliance then begins to preheat,” PRE “and the set temperature appears on the display, and the indicator light is white.
  4. When preheating is complete, the set temperature appears on the display, and the set time flashes on the display. The device beeps five times and the indicator light turns red.
  5. If you do not press the “ ” within 15 seconds, the device switches to standby mode, and the indication” OFF ” appears on the screen.
  6. Place the ingredients on the baking sheet and press the “ ” button, the appliance starts the countdown, and the indicator light stays red (if you do not press the “button ” within 30 minutes, the device goes into standby mode and the display shows” OFF “).
  7. When the countdown is finished, the device beeps five times, “donE” appears on the screen, and the indicator light turns green.
  8. Press the “Stop” button to enter standby mode and “OFF” appears on the display.

How to flatten your device to the 180 ° position

  1. Use the handle to open the device and create a 110 ° angle (Figure 1), press down on the top cover so that it is flush with the handle (Figure 2), then press down on the handle and the top cover to lay them flat (Figure 3).
  2. It is possible to open the top plate 180 degrees (flat position) before preheating.

  1. During cooking, you can press the buttons “ “” “to set the time/temperature, the appliance will start cooking according to the new time/temperature within 3 seconds.
  2. The device can memorize the temperature and time of the last adjustment; when you turn on the appliance and select the desired function, the temperature and time of the last use are displayed.

USEFUL TIPS:

  1. For a satisfactory result, spread a little cooking oil or cooking oil spray on the plates.
  2. To reduce the preheating time, close the grill plate the meat during preheating.
  3. Use only the handle to open or close the top cover to avoid burns.

REMARK: For baking waffles, we recommend that you set the temperature of your plates to 200 ° C for 2 minutes.
Do not hesitate to adapt the cooking time according to your tastes.
Note that the part of the waffle on the lower plate will be slightly more colored because it will stay in contact with the plate longer.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Even if the appliance is not in use, unplug it from the wall outlet before cleaning it and/or cleaning the various parts.

  1. Unplug the appliance and let it cool for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Use a silicone spatula to remove any residue on the plates.
  3. Discard the grease from the juice tray once it is cool down.
  4. Press the release buttons to remove those plates from the appliance. Make sure that the plates are cool down completely before handling it.
  5. After removing the plates from the appliance, you can clean them in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher. The different hotplates and the juice tray can be put in the dishwasher.
  6. Remove the removable juice tray from the back of the appliance. Make sure that the food residues in the juice tray are completely cool before emptying it. Rinse the juice tray with hot soapy water and then dry it thoroughly.

Note: Before removing the juice tray, make sure that the temperature of the oil or oil residue has completely cooled, otherwise it may cause bums if it is too hot.

User maintenance

  1. Be careful when handling the appliance during cooking.
  2. Open and close the device using only the handle. Do not touch the top cover during or immediately after cooking, as the top plate is hot during cooking and must be allowed to cool.
  3. We recommend that you wear oven mitts when handling the appliance to avoid burns.
  4. Never use metal utensils, as they may scratch the coating of the hob.
  5. Always allow the appliance to cool completely or at least for 30 minutes before cleaning it.

Error code:

  1. E1: upper thermostat open circuit, please contact after-sales service.
  2. E2: Upper thermostat short circuit, please contact after-sales service.
  3. E3: lower thermostat open circuit, please contact after-sales service.
  4. E4: Lower thermostat short circuit, please contact after-sales service.
