Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure the power plug is tightly connected to the socket.
  2. Properly install the water tank to ensure correct water flow.
  3. Turn on the handle switch and switch knob for water flow.
  4. Install the nozzle properly with a clicking sound.
  5. Clean handle cavity as needed; install nozzle before use.

Instructions

  • Plug into the socket. If the socket is controlled by a wall switch, make sure the switch is turned on.

Preparing for Reservoir

  • Remove the lid & Reservoir from the base.
  • Fill the Reservoir with lukewarm water. Put the Reservoir back to the base and press down firmly and put on the lid.

Inserting and removing tips

  • Insert the tip into the centre of the knob at the top of the dental jet handle, the coloured ring will be flush with the end of the knob if the tip is correctly locked into place.
  • To remove the tip from the handle, press the jet tip eject button and pull the tip from the handle.

Adjusting the Pressure Settings

  • Turn the pressure control dial on the base of the unit to the lowest setting for first-time use.
  • Gradually increase pressure over time to the setting you prefer, or as instructed by your dental professional.

Using the Oral Irrigator

  • Lean low over a sink and place the jet tip in the mouth. Aim the tip toward the teeth. With your free hand, turn the on/off button on. Set pressure at the desired setting. Direct the stream by turning the knob at the top of the handle.

Recommended technique

  • Direct the jet stream at a 90-degree angle to your gumline, slightly close your lips to avoid splashing but allow water to flow freely from your mouth into the sink.
  • For best results, start in the molar area (back teeth) working towards the front teeth.
  • Glide the jet tip along the gumline and pause briefly between teeth. Continue the process until all areas around and between the teeth have been cleaned.

Pause Control

  • You can temporarily stop the flow at any time by pressing the pause button on the handle.

When finished

  • Turn the unit off. Empty any liquids left in the reservoir. Unplug the unit.

Special Tips Instruction

Periodontal Tip

  • The Periodontal Tip delivers water or anti-bacterial solutions deep into periodontal pockets.
  • To use the Tooth Pocket Tip, lean lower your sink place the soft tip against a tooth at a 45-degree angle and gently place the tip under the gumline.
  • Turn the unit onto the lowest pressure setting and clean gently following the gumline, inserting the tip in between teeth.
  • Continue tracing along the gum line until you finish cleaning.

Tongue Cleaner

  • Lean over the sink. Place the tongue cleaner on your tongue and start the unit – use the lowest pressure setting, increase as comfortable.
  • Gently place the tongue cleaner in the centre/midline of your tongue about halfway back and with light pressure pull forward.

Orthodontic Tip

  • The special Orthodontic Tip is uniquely designed to simultaneously brush and rinse hard-to-reach areas around braces and other dental work.
  • To use the Orthodontic Tip, lean low over the sink and use the brush bristles to clean around dental work. Water will flow through the brush to rinse away any debris that is removed.

Periodontal Tip

  • Direct the Jet Stream at a 90-degree angle to your gumline. Close lips slightly to avoid splashing but allow water to flow freely from mouth into the sink. Start in the molar (back teeth) area working toward the front teeth.
  • Place the tip close to the teeth so that the bristles are gently touching the teeth.
  • Gently glide the tip along the gumline, pausing briefly between teeth to brush and allow the water to flow between the teeth.
  • Continue until all areas around and between the teeth both inside and outside, top and bottom have been cleaned.

Cleaning

  • After using any special solution in the reservoir, take a moment after every use to rinse the unit.
  • Partially fill the reservoir with warm tap water, aim the jet tip into your sink, turn on the unit and let it run until the reservoir is empty. This will help keep the tip from clogging and help your unit to last longer.
  • Clean the product when necessary by using a soft cloth and mild non-abrasive cleanser.
  • Before cleaning, please unplug from the electrical outlet.
  • Before exposing the dental jet to freezing temperatures, remove the reservoir and run the unit until completely empty.

Service Maintenance

  1. After using the ELEVON Oral Irrigator, be sure to unplug the power cord, and the tank upside down on a flat surface, when the water is completely dry, put it into a cool, dry place together with the cleaned and dry host.
    • It should be placed in a box or similar storage when not in use for a long time.
  2. When a machine malfunctions, you can contact the seller to inquire about related maintenance methods.
  3. Do not disassemble or attempt to resolve this product, resulting in any problem, not within the Company’s warranty.
  4. When the power cord is damaged, go to our designated service point or related maintenance shop for maintenance. Do not replace the power cord or plug yourself.
  5. If the product is out of the warranty period, we will provide repairing service as well, we will charge the cost of materials appropriately and a small amount of labour cost.

Common problems and solutions

Problem Cause Solution

There is not enough or no water coming from the device.| 1. The water tank has not been installed correctly, meaning that the pipe slot is not pushing the valve open.

2. The handle switch has not been turned on.

3. Not enough time has passed since the water was turned on.

| 1. Use a slight amount of force to press the water tank down vertically so that the bottom edge of the tank is fully fitted with the top of the device.

2. Push the handle switch to the “OFF” or “ON” position.

3. Turn the switch knob clockwise to the furthest point and turn the handle switch on. Under normal conditions, water should flow for around 15 seconds.

Water is leaking between the nozzle and the handle switch or the nozzle was flushed out by water pressure during operation| The nozzle was not installed properly.| Install the nozzle in the proper position (you should hear a “clicking” sound).
The handle is leaking water| 1. There is ponding in the cavity after the handle is cleaned.

2. When the nozzle is not inserted, the water in the tank flows into the handle cavity through the device pipe.

| 1. It is normal for there to be water in the handle cavity after cleaning.

2. Install the nozzle before use.

Water is leaking from the pipe| The pipe is damaged| Seek a replacement or after-sales repair from the seller.
The device automatically shuts down| The device has a configured timed shutdown.| This is a part of normal operations. Simply turn the device back on.
The device is making noises| When the product is operating, it may generate a noise of ≤75 dB.| The device is operating normally.
