SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Basic safety precautions must always be followed when using electrical appliances, including the following:

1. Never connect the hairdryer to a mains with the incorrect voltage.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent hazard and injury.
3. Make sure that the air outlet and the inlet grille are clear before and during use.
4. The hairdryer is protected against overheating. It stops automatically when overheating and will restart after a short cooling period. If the hairdryer stops automatically, do not continue using it. Switch it off and remove the plug from the socket.
5. Do not hold the air outlet too close to your hair. Switch off the hairdryer after a long period of use and always disconnect the power after use.
6. Keep the hairdryer out of the reach of children.
7. Do not immerse the hairdryer in water or use it in a damp environment.
8. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience or knowledge as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of this appliance in a safe manner and they fully understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintaining the appliance must not be done by children without adult supervision.
9. Do not use this appliance near water. Do not use this appliance with wet hands.
10. Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,  showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
11. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use as the proximity to water involves a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off.
12. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Always ensure that the switch is set to the OFF position before plugging the appliance into the socket.
2. Use the high setting for drying hair and use the low setting for styling.
3. If the hairdryer stops for any reason, turn it off immediately and allow it to cool down for a while.

   • High temperature
5. Cool Shot: Press and hold the Cool Shot button while operating the hairdryer and you will experience a comfortable cool flow of air.
6. The use of the concentrator or diffuser is optional. You may detach the concentrator and replace it with the diffuser to style your hair.
7. Switch off the appliance after use and remove the plug from the socket. Pull the plug and never pull the cord.

ION FUNCTION

1. Hair protection: Keeps the hair moist, prevents static, and makes it easy to be combed.
2. Sterilization function: The generated ions together with ozone particles can kill various types of virus and bacteria.
3. Cleaning function: lons can neutralize dust and smoke particles in the air.
4. The ion function can improve blood circulation and health.

CLEANING AND MAINTAINANCE

1. Always ensure that the hairdryer is unplugged from the socket before cleaning.
2. Clean and dry the hairdryer with a damp cloth. This will help to preserve the original finish of your hairdryer.
3. Abrasive cleaners must not be used.

WARNING
Never immerse the hairdryer in water and always ensure that the plug stays dry. After using the hairdryer several times, you should clean the inlet filter. Turn it anticlockwise to remove it from the hairdryer, then remove any hair or fluff that has become stuck in the inlet filter. Reinstall the inlet filter by turning it clockwise into the hairdryer.
