DYNASTY Electric Fireplace Removal and Installation
Main Control Board Removal and Installation
- Ensure the fireplace is powered off. Remove the back panel of the fireplace by removing the screws surrounding the backplate.
- Locate the main control board on the right side of the fireplace.
- Remove the 4 screws at each corner of the circuit board and set aside. The circuit board will become loose and only supported by the pins.
- Prepare the new circuit board to be installed. During the installation, the new circuit board can be placed next to the old circuit board for easier wiring access.
- Unplug the three pins on the top of the circuit, and connect to the new circuit.
- Unplug the 4-pin black bus connector, and connect it to the new circuit.
- Unplug the 4-pin red bus connector and connect it to the new circuit.
- Unplug the 4-pin white bus connector and connect it to the new circuit.
- Unplug the 3 pins next to the blue fuse and connect to the new circuit. From the top to bottom, the wires are coordinated in white, blue, and red.
- Unplug the 7-pin bus connector and connect it to the new circuit.
- Unplug the 2-pin black and 2-pin red bus connectors and connect them to the new circuit.
- Unplug the 3-pin black and 2-pin black bus connectors and connect them to the new circuit
- Move the new circuit into place – Please ensure all wires are routed from the from of the circuit board, and there are no wires running through the back of the circuit board.
- After the new circuit has been connected, reinstall the circuit back into place by securing the four screws at the edges of the circuit.
