FUV Quick Start Guide
Start and Go
Follow these instructions to start your FUV:
| 1. Sit down in the FUV, and fasten both front Seat Belts.

| 2. Set the Direction switch on the right grip to Neutral (•).
| 3. Insert the key and turn it to the ON position. The FUV chimes and
the Display shows the Arcimoto logo.
| 4. Press and hold the START button on the left grip.
| 5. Firmly press the BRAKE PEDAL all the way to the floor to start the
FUV.
| 6. When the FUV starts, the display updates to show the Drive screen. Once
the FUV is started, release the START button and the Brake Pedal.
| 7. Press the Parking Brake button on the Control Panel to release the
Parking Brake. The Parking Brake is fully released when all three LEDs on
the button are OFF.
| 8. Use the DIRECTION switch on the right
grip to select a safe direction of travel.
Select the UP arrow for Forward. Select the DOWN arrow for Reverse.
| WARNING! Be sure the path is clear of obstructions, including people
and animals, before twisting the throttle. _
_9. Gently twist the throttle to go!
If the FUV Doesn’t Start
| Check the MOTOR OFF Switch on the Right-hand grip – if it is in the OFF
position , the FUV will not start. Switch to the ON position and try again.
Note that the Motor Off tell-tale on the Display indicates if the motors are
turned off.

| Try again, but apply more pressure on the Brake Pedal. The Brake Pedal must
be pressed all the way down to turn the FUV On.
Parking and Shut Down
| 1. Find a safe spot to park, and bring the FUV to a complete stop. Leave
the Brake Pedal depressed.

| 2. Slide the DIRECTION switch to Neutral (•).
| 3. Press the Parking Brake button on the Control Panel to engage the
Parking Brake. The Parking Brake is fully engaged when all three LEDs on the
button are lit.
| 4. Turn the Key to OFF and remove the Key.
| 5. Release the Brake Pedal.
Post-Drive
When you finish a drive, plug the FUV into a charging station to maintain
charge. Keep the FUV plugged in when not in use. The electronics in the FUV
will keep the battery full, well balanced, and ready for use without any risk
of overcharging.
