Liquid cooling device installation

  1. Place the PTC heater on the container shelf in the position of the original mining rigs, and after placing it flat, use the original mining rig 10mm hose to connect the water distributor with the inlet and outlet of the PTC heater.
  2. External power supply source: Use the original mining rig’s power supply, AC400÷5%V, 50/60Hz.

System use and operation
The distinction of symbols indicates the degree of danger: PTC heater” ” is marked with power and it is forbidden to touch the socket marked with power.

Precautions for use

  • The device should avoid wiring in the middle;
  • If the equipment has abnormal conditions (such as burnt odour, etc.) should stop, disconnect the power supply, and check;
  • The power supply must be disconnected before the equipment is maintained or repaired;
  • It is forbidden to operate with wet hands, otherwise, it is easy to cause an electric shock accident it is forbidden to place debris at the top of the PTC heater at will, and it is not allowed to stand or sit on the PTC heater;
  • PTC heater front power supply socket, water inlet, and water outlet are equipped with a protective cap, If the interface is not used, ensure that the protective cap should be covered with the corresponding port, to prevent foreign matter from entering.

Check before use

  • PTC heater structure is firm and not loose;
  • Check whether the equipment power supply voltage (AC400V) is normal;
  • Check whether the appearance of the heater is normal and whether the components are firmly installed.

Turn on the container cooling system
Turn on the cooling system of the container and the coolant will circulate through the PTC heater.

Turn on and off Steps

  • Check that the PTC heater is not abnormal;
  • Determine the shelf position of the PTC heater to be placed;
  • Disconnect the superior air switch corresponding to the position;
  • Lift the PTC heater to the predetermined position of the shelf, place it flat, and confirm that the PTC heater power switch is in the “OFF” position;
  • Connect the power socket connector;
  • Connect the water distributor hose to the corresponding inlet and outlet of the PTC heater, and make sure that the connection is OK; During the connection, pay attention to the residual coolant in the pipeline shall not drip onto other equipment;
  • Open the coolant circulation system of the container;
  • Check whether there is coolant circulation flow at the inlet and outlet;
  • Close the upper air switch;
  • Turn the knob “switch” ON the front panel to the “ON” state to power the PTC heater;
  • Click the “Start” button and the running “indicator” on the panel lights up and the system starts. And automatically ston according to the inlet and outlet temperature:

PTC heater detects that the inlet water temperature reaches 25°C or the outlet water temperature reaches nearly 50°C, it will automatically stop heating. After the temperature drops by 10°C, the PTC heater can be started again, If the cooling water temperature can not make the PTC heater automatically reset, and the heater needs to be turned on again, the PTC heater can be removed and the liquid below 13°C can be supplied to the PTC heater manually so that the temperature switch can be quickly reset;

  • If the manual shutdown is needed, just turn the knob “switch” ON the panel to the “OFF” position, and the system will stop heating, even if the knob “switch” is turned to the “ON” position, the system will be in the shutdown state;
  • Disconnect the corresponding superior air switch;
  • Confirm that the knob switch on the panel is located in the “OFF” position;
  • Unplug the power connector and plug the connector base with its protective cap;
  • Turn off the inlet and outlet valves;
  • Pull out the hose from the water distributor to the PTC heater, taking care to prevent the coolant from splashing on the PTC heater or other equipment;
  • Slowly raise the PTC heater panel part to pull it out, take it off the shelf, and pay attention to prevent the remaining liquid inside the PTC heater to other equipment. The operation of removing from the shelf can refer to the operation of the miner;
  • Pour out the residual liquid inside the PTC heater pipeline;
  • Plug the inlet and outlet of the PTC heater and the connector to prevent foreign matter from entering.
