Manrose Weatherproof Cowls

  1. This weatherproof cowl is supplied complete with a perimeter frame and four fixing screws.
  2. Ensure that the supplied fixing screws are suitable for the application and for the substrate that the cowl is being affixed to. Alternative fixings should be manufactured from stainless steel.
  3. The external frame surrounding the cowl must be waterproof with a suitable silicone sealant to ensure weather tightness.
  4. Once all four corners to the substrate are fixed using the supplied screws or suitable alternative fixings and the appropriate silicone sealant has been applied around all 4 sides of the perimeter frame a visual inspection must be made to confirm weather tightness.
