PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Welcome to our BLE Mesh Hub, a powerful device that can be used to build a smart home network and connect with various BLE Mesh sub-devices and accessories. Before getting started, please take some time to read the user manual to ensure you set up and manage your BLE Mesh Hub correctly.
Specification
Using Instruction
- Search for “Aidot” on the app store (Apple Store, Google Play, Huawei App Gallery etc) or scan the QR code. Download and install the Aidot app.
- Choose the installation location of the hub: the hub should be 2-6 meters away from the router in the house, and metal obstacles between the hub and the router or around the hub.
- Power the hub on: please use the 5V-1A or 5V-2A adapter (purchase it separately) and the USB power cable to power the hub on.
- Wait for the blue hub indicator light to change from always off to flashing.
- Make sure that the mobile phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- If you use a dual-band router, please make sure your phone is connected with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi or disable 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Keep your phone close to the hub and make sure both of them are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Please open the Aidot app, click “+” in the upper right corner, select “B1 Plus Hub” and follow the instructions to complete adding the hub.
- Add an accessory: after the hub is successfully added, please refer to the accessory installation guide to add an accessory.
- Automatic Device Connection: When a BLE Mesh sub-device or accessory joins the network, it broadcasts its presence. The BLE Mesh Hub can listen to these broadcasts and automatically identify and connect to newly added devices. This is achieved through short-range broadcast communication between devices.
- Restore to Factory Settings

During the device power-on startup stage, the red-green-blue indicator lights stay on for 1 second.” Due to device firmware upgrades and updates, actual operations may slightly differ from the descriptions above. Please follow the current in-app instructions or the prompts based on the actual device status for guidance.
Important Notes
- The hub cannot connect to Wi-Fi / the connection is unstable.
- It does not support 5GHz networks, only 2.4GHz is supported.
- Check if the Wi-Fi name and password are correct.
- Place the hub within the coverage area of the router’s signal.
- It is recommended to ensure there are no obstacles such as metal doors or walls between the hub and BLE Mesh sub-devices.
- BLE Mesh sub-devices are shown as offline.
- The maximum distance between BLE Mesh sub-devices and the Hub should not exceed 40 meters.
- The maximum distance between sub-devices should not exceed 40 meters.
- Please check if the sub-device batteries are low.
- There are no push notifications/delayed push notifications in the app.
- Android users need to enable the location feature, while iOS users need to go to “Settings” on their phones › “AiDot” › “Location” › “Always”.
- Try to keep the distance between the hub and the sub-devices as close as possible.
- Ensure there are no obstacles between the hub and the sub-devices.
