Product Usage Instructions

Using the Hair Waver

1. Ensure the device is clean and dry before use.
2. Plug in the device to a power outlet compatible with the specifications provided.

Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.

BEFORE USE

• Take the product out of the box.
• Remove all packaging material. Save the original box.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible signs of damage are observed, contact the Cecotec official Technical Support Service immediately.

OPERATION

Note
Only use the hair waver on hair that is at least 80% dry.

1. Plug the device into a power supply. The screen will display OFF.
2. Place the appliance on a flat, stable and dry surface.
3. Press the on/off button for 2 seconds to switch on the hair waver.
4. The device will indicate the default temperature is 180 ºC.
5. Press the temperature increase button repeatedly to increase the temperature in increments of 10°C up to the maximum, 220°C. To lower the temperature, press the temperature reduction button repeatedly until the minimum temperature, 100°C, is reached.
6. The display will show the current temperature of the hair waver. When the selected temperature is reached, this temperature will remain fixed on the display.
7. To lock the buttons, press the on/off button twice in succession. The screen will display LOC. To unlock them, press on/off again twice in succession.

For surf waves:

1. Select a hair section, 5-cm wide and 1-cm thick approx. Hold the hair straight with one hand, insert it closest to the root between the plates of the hair waver and, holding it with the other hand, close it and hold it for a few seconds.
2. Repeat this step with the rest of the tuft until you reach the tip.
3. Repeat with the rest of the hair.
4. Wait until hair cools down and comb it.

For soft curls:

1. Select a hair section, 5-cm wide and 1-cm thick approx. Hold the hair straight with one hand, insert it between the plates of the hair waver and, holding the hair waver with the other hand, twist the hair waver, rolling the hair over the hair waver and glide it to the ends.

2. Repeat this step with the rest of the hair.

3. Wait until hair cools down and comb it.
   Warning
   Avoid touching the scalp with the device to prevent skin damage.

4. The device will automatically shut down after 60 minutes of inactivity.

5. Be sure to press the on/off button for 2 seconds to switch off the device when you have finished using the hair waver. The screen will display OFF.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Turn off and disconnect the device from the power supply and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
• Place the device on a heatproof surface until it cools down before cleaning or storing it.
• Use a soft, dry and clean cloth to clean the product.
• Do not wrap the cable around the handle or plates.
• Store the appliance in a safe and dry place and keep it out of the reach of children.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual. The warranty will not cover the following situations:

• The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture,
• immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
• If the product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons not authorised by the Cecotec official Technical Support Service.
• Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
  • The warranty service covers every manufacturing defect of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
