Battery level indicator light (USB cable disconnecting)

1. Green light constantly on: 70-100% remaining battery

2. Orange light constantly on: 50-70% remaining battery

3. Yellow light constantly on: 30-50% remaining battery

4. Red light constantly on: Less than 30% remaining battery

5. Red light flashing: Low battery, needs to be charged

6. Rotate the knob clockwise: Volume+

7. Rotate the knob anticlockwise: Volume-

8. Press the knob once: Mute/Unmute

Quick Start Guide

Connecting through a USB cable

1. Connect the USB cable to the computer to use it directly.
2. For the three mode version, please toggle the Bluetooth/USB/2.4GHz wireless mode switch to the USB position.

Connecting through the 2.4GHz wireless receiver (three mode version only)

1. Insert the 2.4GHz wireless receiver into the USB port of the computer.
2. On the three mode version, toggle the Bluetooth/USB/2.4GHz wireless mode switch to the 2.4GHz wireless position.
3. When pairing, the 2.4GHz indicator light will be lighting on. After a successful auto-connection, the light will be off, and now you can use the keyboard.
4. When the KB3 is left unused (in 2.4GHz wireless mode), you can toggle the Bluetooth/USB/2.4GHz wireless mode switch to the USB position to turn it off.

Connecting through Bluetooth (three mode version only)

1. On the three mode version, toggle the Bluetooth/USB/2.4GHz wireless mode switch to the BT position.
2. The Bluetooth mode supports simultaneous memory connection of 3 devices. The combination key of FN+Q/W/E each represents BT1, BT2 and BT3. Short press the combination keys to switch between devices, and hold for pairing.
3. The blue light flashing quickly means pairing, flashing slowly means reconnecting, and will be off after a successful reconnection.
4. After a successful connection, holding FN, the light of the Q/W/E key corresponding to the connected device will be constantly on, and will turn off if releasing the FN.
5. Bluetooth pairing name: FIlO KB3 BT1 (or BT2, BT3).
6. The KB3 will enter the sleep state if the connection fails in 1 minute, or if the reconnection fails in 20 seconds.
7. When the KB3 is left unused (in Bluetooth mode), you can toggle the Bluetooth/USB/2.4GHz wireless mode switch to the USB position to turn it off.

Audio decoding function (HiFi version only)

1. The KB3 runs driver-free on Windows 10 and above systems, as well as Mac OS. You can also download the Windows USB driver on our website to enable the ASIO mode to acquire a better experience.
2. When connecting to a computer, please ensure the “FIIO KB3” is selected as the audio output device.
3. Please ensure the volume is at an appropriate level or turn down the volume before wearing headphones. Otherwise, it may affect hearing.

Notes :

1. In Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless mode, the KB3 will enter the first level of sleeping if not being used for 3 minutes. At this time, the light will be off, and the Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless mode is still working. Press any key of the KB3 to wake it up, and the pressed key value will be output.
2. In Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless mode, the KB3 will enter the second level of sleeping if not being used for 10 minutes. At this time, the KB3 is disconnected. Press any key of the KB3 to wake it up. The first press will just wake up the keyboard without any output. The KB3 will be auto-connected after being woken up, and can be used normally after a successful connection.

Notes and Precautions

1. It’s recommended to charge the keyboard with a standard 5V charger or through the USB port of the computer.
2. If the device is to be left unused for a long time, please recharge it periodically to preserve its battery life.
3. Please do not place the device in circumstances of excessive high/low temperatures (above 45°C or below 0°C), or in an enclosed high-temperature environment, such as in a car.
4. Bluetooth wireless technology has a working scope of approximately 10 meters. Transmission distance is affected by obstacles (humans, metal objects, walls, etc.) or electromagnetic environments, which may lead to noise or audio loss.
5. When connecting the device to headphones or speakers, please ensure the volume is at an appropriate level or turn down the volume before wearing headphones. Please do not wear headphones at a high volume for a long time. Otherwise, it may affect hearing.
6. Please do not expose the battery to high temperatures; do not use the battery if it is soaked in water or severely swollen; do not disassemble, bump and squeeze the battery, or drop it into fire.
7. Please do not repair or disassemble the product on your own and do not put it near water.
