Controls
Blend
Controls the amount of dry signal to wet signal.
Full CCW is the dry signal while full CW is for the full effect “wet” signal.
Speed
Controls the rate of rotation. Range is 0.6Hz to 6.6Hz. This simulates how
fast the horn tweeter and
baffle chamber are spinning in circles. For example: 1Hz is a speed of one
revolution per second.
Drive
Controls the amount of gain for the input amplifier. This simulates the “pushed” overdrive of a pair of6550 and 12AU7 vacuum tubes. Boost / Mids Switch This switch togales a 4.5dB mid boost at around 425Hz that is on the output of the effect.
On Footswitch
This switch turns the effect pedal on and off.
Slow-Fast Footswitch
Press and release quickly to toggle between the two speeds in the effect
pedal.
Press and hold for a second to stop the “speaker” rotation.
Press the switch to start rotation again.
True or Buffered Bypass Modes
Press and hold the On Switch for two seconds to switch between Buffered-Bypass
(LED flashes three times)
orTrue-Bypass (LED flashes twice). Set to Buffered by default.
Secondary Functions
Ramp Rate and Slow Speed secondary controls are preset from the factory. ‘and
don’t need to be adjusted to enjoy the pedal. Hyouwant to create your own
“Slow Speed” or quicken the “Ramp Rate” for fast speed/tempo changes, you can
adjust them to your liking.
Basically, you press and hold down the Slow-Fast footswitch while you adjust
either of the two controls, then let up on the Slow-Fast footswitch to save
your settings.
Setting a Custom Ramp Rate Ramp Rate secondary control – Controls the amount
of time it takes the rotation to go from slow to fast and from fast to slow.
Set the control all the way to the left for the slowest time (10 seconds!).
Set the control all the way to the right for the fastest time (15
milliseconds).
Press and hold the Slow-Fast Switch while adjusting DRIVE to change the Ramp
Rate, or how fast it changes speed:
Setting a Custom Slow Speed Slow Speed secondary control – Controls the rate
of rotation. Range is 0.6Hz to 6.6Hz. This is the target rate in which the
brake switch will togale. To set this value, press and hold the Slow-Fast
switch while adjusting the Speed knob.
Press and hold the Slow-Fast Switch while adjusting SPEED to change the rate
of rotation for the Slow Speed.
Power Up Functions Factory Reset – Press and hold the On and Slow-Fast
footswitches at the same time ‘while applying power to the back of the unit.
The LED will flash several times toindicate the reset was successful.
Flashing/Constant LED – Would you want to see the tempo flashing on the power
LED or would you like it to be constant? Press and hold the Slow-Fast switch
while applying power to the back of the unit to toggle between the LED
flashing at the rotational rate or remaining constant when the effect s on.
