Controls
Blend
Controls the amount of octave/chorus is added to the dry signal.
Rate
Controls the rate of the chorus.
Range is from OHz to 4Hz.
Chorus
Controls the depth of the chorus.
Range is roughly Oms to 2.9ms.
Echo/ Off Switch
This switch toggles a 66ms double-tracking echo.
This is designed to simulate the time it takes your pick to strum through a
pair of strings on a 12 string guitar.
On Footswitch
This switch turns the effect on and off.
Press and hold for two seconds to switch between buffered bypass (LED will
flash three times)or true-bypass (LED will flash twice).
X2 Footswitch
This switch turns the Octave or 12 String Simulator on. 12 String Simulator
mode is indicated by a full bright LED.
If the LED is dim, the octave effect is off and the pedal is in Chorus mode.
True or Buffered Bypass Modes
Press and hold the On Switch for two seconds to switch between Buffered-Bypass
(LED flashes three times) or True-Bypass (LED flashes twice). Set to Buffered
by default.
Secondary Functions
Echo Level and 12 String Filter secondary controls are preset from the factory
and don’t need to be adjusted to ef\ioy the pedal. If you want to set your own
“Echo Level” or “12 String Filter” (Octave cutoff frequency), you can adjust
them to your liking.
Basically, you press and hold down the X2 footswitch while you adjust either
of the two controls, then let up on the X2 footswitch to save your settings.
Setting a Custom Echo Level
Echo Level secondary control – Controls the volume level of the 66ms echo.
To set the volume press and hold the X2 switch while adjusting CHORUS. You can
adjust for your own louder slapback echo or roll off more treble for a warmer
acoustic sound. Press and hold the X2 Switch switch while adjusting the CHORUS
to control the volume of the 66ms echo.
Setting a Custom 12 String Filter
12 String Filter secondary control – Controls the cutoff frequency for the
octave. The range is from !kHz at full CCW to 6.5kHz at full CW.
To set this value, press and hold the X2 switch while adjusting the Rate knob.
Press and hold the X2 Switch while adjusting the RATE to control the high-end
treble roll off for the Octave/12 String Sim. You can roll off the highs
starting as low as !kHz at full CCW to 6.5kHz at full CW for full brightness.
Power Up Functions
Factory Reset – Press and hold the On and X2 footswitches at the same time
while applying power to the back of the uniL The LED will flash several times
to indicate the reset was successful.
