OVERVIEW
CONTROLS
TIME
Sets the length of delay from 1ms to 1500ms.
FDBK
Sets the regeneration (number of repeats) of the delay.
LEVEL
Sets the level of the delay.
MODE SWITCH
This switch toggles between (@ Andy Timmons ‘HALO’ Mode and 1/4 Note Mode.
ON / OFF FOOTSWITCH
This footswitch turns the effect on and off.
TAP/ HOLD FOOTSWITCH
- The HALO Core features a dedicated Tap Tempo footswitch.
- Simply tap the footswitch to set your desired delay tempo.
- Press and hold for our newly re-engineered ‘Infinite Hold’ feature.
TRUE OR BUFFERED BYPASS MODES
Press and hold the ON / OFF footswitch for two seconds to switch between
Buffered-Bypass (LED flashes three times) or True-Bypass (LED flashes twice).
Set to Buffered by default.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
TAP / HOLD FOOTSWITCH
Hold down the TAP / HOLD footswitch while manipulating knobs to access
secondary controls.
HPF – HIGH PASS FILTER
Sets the cutoff frequency for a single-order high pass filter in the feedback
loop.
The frequency ranges from 10Hz at full CCW to 300Hz at full cw.
TONE
Controls the tone of the delayed signal. The range of the cutoff frequency
runs from 1000Hz at full CCW to 8750Hz at full CW.
SATURATE
Acts as tape compression and saturation, allowing you to mimic the grit and
feel of vintage tape delay units. Additional low-pass filtering is also
introduced as saturation is increased.
POWER UP FUNCTIONS
- Factory Reset – Press and hold the ON / OFF and TAP / HOLD footswitches at the same time while applying power to the back of the unit.
- The LED will flash several times to indicate the reset was successful.
- All Wet / Wet + Dry – Press and hold the ON / OFF footswitch while applying power to the unit. The LED will flash twice to indicate Wet + Dry and three times for Wet only.
- Trails – Press and hold the TAP / HOLD footswitch while applying power to the unit. The LED will flash twice to indicate that Trails is on and three times when Trails is turned off.
