  2. Plug the USB-C connector of the hub into your laptop.
  3. Connect USB devices & HDMI devices such as a keyboard, a monitor, etc. to the hub.

Notes

  • Ensure proper power supply by connecting the power adapter to the USB-C (PD) port before connecting your phone.
  • If the hub cannot recognize a connected device, unplug the external device and plug it back in after 10 seconds. If the issue persists, restart the computer and check if the external device requires a driver installation.
  • If the HDMI port is not working, refer to the laptop’s user manual or the manufacturer’s website to verify if the USB-C port connected to the hub supports DP Alt mode. Also, try using different laptops and HDMI cables to ensure your monitor is set to the HDMI input mode.
  • Due to power output limitations, you may not be able to connect 3 SSDs to 3 USB-A ports simultaneously. Connect 1 or 2 HDDs/SDDs at a time.
  • The hub itself consumes about 15W of power, so when connected to a 100W charger, the actual power delivered to your laptop will be approximately 85W.
  • The USB-C (PD) port is only used to connect a power supply to charge your laptop, mobile phone, or tablet. It does not have the function of data transmission.
  • When the hub is connected to the laptop, connecting or disconnecting the power adapter from the hub may cause it to switch the power supply mode and disconnect from the laptop. Please unplug the hub and plug it back into the laptop.
  • The USB-A ports are mainly used for data transmission and do not support charging high-power mobile phones and other devices.
