  • Always observe the following precautions when using ‘the air bed’, hereinafter referred to as ‘the product’.

General

  • Before first use, remove all packaging material and any stickers.
  • Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with incorrect use of the product. Improper use of the product can lead to personal injury and damage to the product.
  • Do not disassemble, repair or repair the product. This may damage the product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service personnel. Always send the product to the service center for repairs to avoid damage and personal injury.
  • Use the product only for the purposes indicated in this manual.
  • Do not use accessories not offered by the supplier. They may pose a danger to the user and damage the product.
  • Before each use, inspect the parts and accessories for damage or wear (cracks/breaks) that could impair function and if so, replace them with original parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
  • If the product is not working properly, has been dropped or damaged, do not use the product and contact our customer service.
  • If this is your first time using the product, it is important to read the manual and instructions carefully.
  • Keep the product away from sharp and pointed objects that may damage the material.
  • Keep the product away from heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high and heat sources such as ovens.
  • The product is designed and intended for private use. Do not use the product for commercial purposes.
  • The product is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use the product outdoors. Doing so may result in damage to the product.
  • Ambient temperatures can affect the air pressure of the product. In cold weather, the air pressure in the product may decrease because the air contracts. Should this happen, add a little air. In warm weather, the air expands. Drain some air from the product to avoid excessive pressure. Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures.

Persons

  • Place the product out of reach of (domestic) animals.
  • To avoid personal injury and damage to the product, do not allow anyone to climb into, stand on, or climb against the product.
  • Do not let children play with the product. Use and store the product out of the reach of children.
  • Children under 15 months should not use the product. Doing so may result in personal injury.
  • Keep the product and cord out of the reach of children under 8 years old.
  • The product may be filled and/or emptied by people with physical or mental disabilities, provided that they are properly supervised and informed regarding the safe use of the product and understand its possible dangers.

Use

  • The air pump does not turn off automatically after you turn it on, you must turn it off manually. Be sure not to inflate the product for more than 3 minutes, observing the maximum air fill. Inflating the product for too long can lead to danger of explosion.
  • The maximum load capacity of the product is 295 kg, do not exceed this limit. Doing so may result in damage to the product or personal injury.
  • Do not cover the air pump when it is on. Never place pillows or blankets on or against the product.
  • This may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury or damage to the product.
  • Do not use the air pump for more than 5 minutes at a time. Allow the pump to cool for at least 20 minutes between each use to prevent overheating and fire hazards. The pump is designed to fully inflate the product in about 3 minutes.
  • Do not use the product near a bath, shower, swimming pool, or near a basin or sink filled with water. Do not touch the product and power cord with wet hands. Make sure that the product does not come into contact with water. Do not immerse the product in water. If water does get in or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our customer service.
  • Do not use the product near stairs, doors, sharp edges or breakable objects. Doing so may result in damage to the product or personal injury.
  • Do not use the product near oxygen or aerosol sprays. This may result in fire hazard, explosive and personal injury.
  • New vinyl naturally stretches. When first used, the product may become soft and require additional air to remain firm. This will be necessary for the first few days. We recommend inflating the product 2 hours in advance and refilling as needed.
  • Always place the product on a horizontal, even, stable and non-flammable surface.
  • Never fill the product with flammable (liquid) substances or sprays. This may result in a fire hazard, explosion and personal injury.

Electronics

  • If the power fails during operation, immediately turn off the air pump and unplug it.
  • If the surface of the air pump is cracked, turn off the air pump to avoid electric shock.
  • Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is any, do not use the air pump and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by authorized service personnel.
  • Do not immerse the air pump, power cord or plug in water. If water does get in or on the air pump, turn off the air pump immediately and contact our customer service department.
  • Use and store the air pump so that the cables cannot be damaged.
  • To avoid electric shock, do not use the air pump if you suspect the power cord or plug is damaged. A damaged power cord or plug should be repaired or replaced by a professional (an authorized distributor).
  • Unplug and turn off the air pump when not in use and before cleaning the air pump.
  • Do not unplug the air pump by pulling the power cord. This may cause fire or electric shock.
  • If black smoke comes out of the air pump, unplug the power cord immediately. Wait for the smoke to clear and contact our customer service department.
  • Do not move the air pump by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
  • Before connecting the air pump, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
  • Do not let the cable(s) hang over the edge of a table or counter top.
  • Do not place the cable(s) on hot surfaces or near oil.
  • Do not tuck the cable(s) under rugs or blankets. Make sure the cable is never in a walkway.
  • Make sure you do not trip over the cable(s) and that the cable(s) are not kinked, twisted, or stuck.

Receiving your shipment

  • When receiving your shipment, make sure that the contents are consistent with the packing list. Notify your distributor of any missing items. If the equipment appears to be damaged, file a claim immediately with the carrier and notify your distributor at once, giving a detailed description of any damage. Save the damaged packing container to substantiate your claim.

How to inflate
How to inflate

  1. Choose a flat surface indoors that is large enough to fully inflate the product.
  2. Remove any sharp or pointed objects.
  3. Place the product face down on the floor.
  4. Open the flap at the foot end of the product where the power cable is stored. Remove the power cable.
  5. Make sure the air valve is tightly closed.
  6. Plug in the power cord.
  7. Turn the air pump knob clockwise until the arrow is at “INFLATE”. It takes about 3 minutes until the product is inflated.
  8. When the product is sufficiently inflated, turn the knob counterclockwise until the arrow is or ‘OFF’.
  9. Lie on the product to test the hardness. If the product is too soft, repeat steps 7 through 9.
  10. Unplug the product and store the power cord in the storage compartment.

How to deflate

  1. Open the flap at the foot end of the product where the power cable is stored. Remove the power cable.
  2. Make sure the air valve is tightly closed.
  3. Plug in the power cord.
  4. Turn the air pump knob counterclockwise until the arrow is at “DEFLATE”. It takes about 3 minutes until the product deflates.
  5. When the product is sufficiently deflated, turn the knob counterclockwise until the arrow or is ‘OFF’.
  6. Unplug and store the power cord in the storage compartment.

How to deflate manually

  1. Open the air valve.
  2. From the pillow top, slowly roll the product toward the foot end. All the air will slowly deflate from the product.
  3. When the product is sufficiently empty, you can fold the product and store it in the carrying bag.

Maintenance and cleaning

Maintenance

  • It is important to check the product regularly for leaks. You can use the repair kit (included stickers) to repair leaks in the product.
  1. Clean the part where the leak is.
  2. Place the sticker on the leak and press it firmly.
  3. Wait at least 4 hours before re-inflating the product.

Cleaning

  • Clean the product with a damp, clean cloth and dry it well. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaning agents.

Storage

  • Store the product in a clean and dry place. Do not store the device in extreme high or extreme low temperatures.

Disposal – recycle

  • Think about the environment and contribute to a cleaner living environment! This product is subject to the European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU. At the end of its service life, do not dispose of the product with normal household waste, but deliver it to a collection point designated by the authorities for recycling.

Service and warranty

  • We provide a 2-year warranty on its products. To obtain service during the warranty period, the product needs to be returned with a proof of purchase. Product defects have to be reported within 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse or incorrect repair; parts subject to wear; defects that the customer was aware of at the time of purchase; damages or defects caused by customer neglect; damages or defects caused by third parties.
