Accepting the Trading Relationship Request (TRR)

Description: The TRR is an electronic agreement that connects Stryker and its suppliers on the SAP Business Network. It comes in the form of an email from SAP at ordersendprod@ansmtp.ariba.com and has to be accepted electronically.

  • Step 1: Once you receive the email, click on the link provided. This will take you to the Ariba Network sign-in page.
  • Step 2: If you have an existing account, select to accept the TRR with your existing account and use your profile as normal. If you choose to create a new account, you will be prompted to enter all your information into SAP. Once you have filled out the required information, your connected account will be created.
  • Step 3: Confirming Acceptance – Sometimes the TRR does not automatically accept. To double-check, select your profile in the top right corner of the Ariba homepage. From there, go to Settings, then Customer Relationships. You will see your current relationships within the SAP Business Network portal. Locate the Stryker relationship and ensure that your Trading Relationship Request is showing as accepted.

What is the TRR

Two options to accept

When accepting the TRR there are two options for suppliers. You may be prompted to review potential existing accounts.stryker-Accepting-the-

  1. New User – select Register Now to create a new SAP Business Network Account.
  2. Existing User – Log in using your current SAP username and password to accept the TRR under an existing SAP Business Network account.

Reasons to create a new account:

  • You do not already have an existing SAP business network account
  • You have an existing network account but prefer to separate the transactions (manage multiple accounts)

If selecting to accept the TRR with an existing account, you will be connected with Stryker and use your profile as normal. If you select to create a new account, you will be prompted to enter all of your information into SAP. Confirming Acceptance

  • Sometimes the TRR does not automatically accept when you create a new account or connect an existing one.
  • To double check this, you will start by selecting your profile in the top right corner of the Ariba homepage.
  • From there, select Settings, then Customer Relationships.
  • After that you will be brought to a screen showing your current relationships held within the SAP Business Network portal.
  • From there you will be able to find the Stryker relationship and make sure that your Trading Relationship Request is showing as accepted.
