Product Description
The Stryker Model 5212050900001 Vision is a configurable protocol management dashboard that allows healthcare professionals (HCPs) to centrally monitor Stryker products and the patients allocated to them. Vision provides HCPs with increased visibility to safe product configuration compliance, fall protocols, and bed/stretcher alarm activity.
Vision takes near real-time, fall risk data pulled directly from a patient’s electronic health record (EHR)* and associates the data with appropriate safe bed/stretcher protocols, set by the healthcare facility, to ensure a safer patient experience and an easier workflow for caregivers.
Vision displays data collected and stored by the healthcare facility’s on- premise iBed Server. Information displayed by Vision includes:
- Patient’s Electronic Health Record (EHR)* data (admittance, discharge, fall risk)
- Connected Stryker products (status, configuration, alarms)
Note
- No personal health information (PHI) is transmitted.
Intended use
Vision is intended to assist HCPs by centrally monitoring multiple Stryker products within a healthcare facility to aid in protocol management. Vision is intended to be used only with Stryker products that have been verified and validated to connect with the iBed Server.
Indications for use
- Vision is indicated for monitoring patients at risk of falling in accordance with fall protocol management parameters as defined by the healthcare facility.
Intended users
- Intended operators of this product are healthcare professionals including but not limited to nurses, nurses aids, doctors, unit secretaries, and transporters.
Contraindications
- None known.
Expected service life
Major releases are expected to occur every three years at a minimum based on third-party software dependencies and associated software support life cycles. Backward compatibility to be maintained until the end-of-life date is established.
