Quick Setup
Step 1: Turn on the Remote
- Find the power switch on the remote and turn it “ON”. The LED light will be flashing blue.
Step 2: Connect Bluetooth
- Activate Bluetooth in your phone and search for “AB Shutter3”. Click to connect and wait for 5s. The blue light will be off after being paired.
Step 3: Tighten the Connector
- Install the phone clip part on a 1/4″ screw on the phone tripod.
Step 4: Separate Tripod Legs and Tighten
- Open the locking knob counterclockwise, spread the tripod legs, and then lock the locking knob in the opposite direction. This ensures stability and minimizes wobbling.
Step 5: Extend the Length
- Open the flip locks to extend each section according to your desired height, then re-lock each section.
Step 6: Adjust the Angle
- Loose the screw and adjust it to the angle you want. You can adjust the holder from vertically to horizontally. Then twist the screw reversely to lock it.
NOTE
- Automatic Shutdown – In Bluetooth Connected Mode, the selfie stick will turn to standby mode after 10 minutes without operation. (Standby mode consumes low electricity. Please turn it off if not in use). In Bluetooth disconnected mode, the remote control will be off in 90 seconds.
- Load Bearing Value – The maximum load-bearing value is 4.41 lb(2kg). If your camera is over 0.92 lb (0.42kg), please do not extend the selfie stick to ensure the security of your device.
Compatibility
- Fit almost all devices with a screen of “2.16-3.85” in width.
- The Bluetooth remote control is compatible with all Bluetooth-enabled devices and requires no extra app for shooting.
FAQ
- Q1: The device can’t be connected.
- A1: Please follow the steps:
- Make sure the remote control has enough power. Please push the “ON-OFF” button to see if it flashes.
- Clear all devices in the Bluetooth list on your phone. Reopen the remote control and try to connect again.
- If it still does not work, please restart your phone.
- Q2: The Bluetooth connects successfully. But it does not take pictures via Bluetooth remote control.
- A2: Some Android users noticed that the Bluetooth remote connects successfully, but it can not take photos, please follow the steps:
- Go to your phone’s camera setting.
- Find the “Shooting methods”.
- Change “Volume key” to “Take a picture or record video”.
- Finally you can enjoy taking photos.
- Q3: When you turn on the switch, can’t see the blue light flash.
- A3: Please follow the steps:
- Reopen the switch, the light will be flashing.
- If it still doesn’t work, please replace the batteries in the remote control and try again.
