- Two probe for choice, rotation probe is for meat, wire probe is for grill.
- Large Bright LCD with Backlit Light that is automatically turned off.
- Can be re-calibrated with a simple procedure when needed.
- Enabling vertical attachment to refrigerator or other elements which consists a magnet.
- Hold temperature function to stop the display from changing the reading. Hold temperature function to stop the reading change.
- °C/°F switchable using a push button.
- Users can set high alarm temperature.
- Resolution : 0.1°C
- Measurement range : -50°C-300°C (-58°F-572°F).
- Measurement accuracy : ±1°C (±2°F) at -20°C-150°C (-4°F-302°F)
- Auto-off : Auto Shut-off after 10 min of inactivity if the measured temperature is below 50°C and the changed temperature is within 2°C/4°F.
Operation
- Before using the thermometer, please pill-off the protected film from the screen.
- The unit comes with two probes, one is built-in rotation probe, the other is wire probe with plug. To start the measurement, When the probe is opened about 60 degrees from folded state, the thermometer will turn on automatically. (Two probes cannot work at the\ same time, when plug the wire probe, it can only read the temperature of wire probe and the LCD will display “OUT”. )
- °C/°F function: When the thermometer is in power on state, press the °C/°F button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- Data-hold : During the measurement, Press the HOLD button once, the “HOLD” button will display on the LCD screen, the measurement value wil be locked. Press the button again to unlock the value.
- Calibration : When the thermometer is in power on state, Insert probe into a mixture of ice and water, press CAL button for 5 seconds , then press the “°C/°F” button or press the “HOLD” button to adjust the temperature to 0°C (32°F), calibration is complete when the digits stop flashing.
- Backlight: Press the light button 2s. It will be auto off after 10s of inactivity.
- High temperature warning : When the thermometer is in power on state, press the“alarm set ”button, then you can press the “°C/°F” button or the “HOLD” button to set alarm tempreature, when the measurement temperature is too high, it will beep and flash. If youwant to shut off high temperature warning, just adjust temperature to the highest setting.
Warnings
Do not leave the thermometer in the oven while cooking
Wash the metal probe in soapy water.
The probe cannot continuously test the temperature higher than 120°C for more than 10 minutes.
Clean the thermometer by wet cloth, try to avoid directly immersing the thermometer in water for cleaning.
