DORMAN 926-062 Ignition Lock Cylinder Instruction Manual
Removal Instructions
STEP 1: Disconnect negative battery cable.
STEP 2: Remove column lower shroud mounting screws and remove upper and
lower shrouds from column.
STEP 3: Unplug wire pigtail from ignition lock if equipped.
STEP 4: Turn ignition to run position.
STEP 5: Press in ignition lock release tab using a small screw driver or
similar tool and pull lock out from column.
Installation Instructions
STEP 1: Install new ignition lock assembly by pushing lock into column.
STEP 2: Connect new ignition lock pigtail if equipped.
STEP 3: Reinstall column shrouds and mounting screws.
STEP 4: Verify free rotation of new lock through all positions.
STEP 5: Reconnect negative battery cable.
