About Product

CM302 is bi-directional 2-way HDMI 2.0 switch than can be used to switch two different HDMI sources or HDMI displays. Toggle button allows you to quickly select a video source or displays, without having to swap cables.
You can connect two HDMI sources, such as Game Consoles, PC, TV Box to one HDMI port on your TV or monitor, and allow two HDMI source devices to share one HDMI port on display. It also functions in the opposite direction, connecting an HDMI source to switch between two displays.Simplecom CM302 Bi

Switch Mode

MODE 1: Switching 2 HDMI Sources (2 Inputs 1 Output)
You can connect two HDMI sources, such as Game Consoles, PC, TV Box to one HDMI port on TV or monitor. Two HDMI source devices share one HDMI port on display.
MODE 2: Switching 2 Display Devices (1 Input 2 Outputs)
You can connect one HDMI source to toggle between two displays, please note two screens cannot display simultaneously under 1 input 2 outputs mode.

Important Notes

  • For 4K@60Hz supports, please note the max cable length of input or output is 1.5M
  • This is a manual HDMI switch and does not support automatic switching
  • Powered by HDMI source device, please plug USB power if no enough power from HDMI
  • Two screens cannot display simultaneously under 1 Input 2 Outputs mode

FAQ

Q: Dol have to connect the USB power cable
The switch box is powered by HDMI source device, you don’t have to plug the USB cable if HDMI source device can supply enough power, otherwise you can plug the USB cable is for backup power.
Q: Cannot display 4K@60Hz signal
First, please make sure the HDMI cables used is 28AWG 19+1 HDMI cable or better, which is capable to transmit HDMI 2.0 18Gbps signal. Also, you can try to change the video output setting to Automatic or change the output from YUV444 to YUV420.
Q: What HDMI cables should I use?
HDMI cable which is capable for 18Gbps bandwidth is recommended for each cable connected to this switch, and reduce cable length for stable video quality.
Q: No signal when the HDMI signal source is a PC/Laptop.
Please check the screen properties on Windows, you need to select Duplicate mode or Expand Mode to activate the HDMI output on your PC as a secondary display.
