TIPS
- Do not place projector in too warm or too cold room, because the high temperature or low temperature will shorten lifespan of the device. The working environment would be s°C-35°C better.
- The ventilation is equipped for the projector to work stably. Don’t cover the vent with cloth, blanket or other things. Don’t insert anything into the slit of the projector, or it may produce a short circuit or an electric shock to your device and cause damage.
- The projector shall be strictly protected from strong impact, extrusion and vibration. Do not try to move and on strong impact, extrusion and vibration. Do not try to move and the internal circuit faults.
- Lens, as the core component of the projector, is directly related to the picture definition and effect. The excessive dust thereon will affect image quality. The dirty lens shall be wiped with soft cotton cloth for the glass lens surface. Hard cloth or abrasives shall not be used.

Note:
- lnstall 2 pieces of AAA batteries (not included) into the remote before using it, do not combine new batteries with old ones in the remote control, which can cause operation failure due to insufficient power supply.
- When using the remote control, ensure that you aim the signal transmitter of the remote control at the infrared signal receiver on the projector, or simply face the projection screen while operating it.
- When you are not using the remote control for a long period. Please take out the batteries to prevent them from leakage.
INSTALLATION
Installation Method
- The projector can be placed on the stable desk or mounted on the ceiling to project the image according to the operating environment and requirements.
- Keep the projector at a height where its lens is axial symmetry to the screen. If this is not possible, use the keystone correction function to adjust the projection image.
Projection Distance and Size
- The image size of the projection depends on the distance between the projector and the screen. There might be a slight 3% variation in measurements among the data listed above.
- The recommended projection distance is 2-3m.
- A darker ambient environment will enhance the clarity of the projected images.
Install on the Ceiling
Note: Please purchase a universal projector ceiling mount, and attach the projector with 1/4-inch screws.
Install the desktop stand
Note: Install the desktop bracket that comes with the product to the screw hole in the middle of the bottom of the projector (the screw hole is 1/4 inch), and tighten the screws to fix it.
STARTING PROJECTOR
- Turn on the projector: Connect to the power cable, when the red indicator light is on, press the power key on the remote control or power button on the panel to start the projector, the indicator turns from the red to blue, the projector is on.
- Turn off the projector: Press the power key on the remote control or power button on the panel to turn off the projector, the indicator turns from the blue to red, the projector is in shut down.
IMAGE FOCUS ADJUSTMENT
Place the projector lens perpendicularly to the projection screen or curtain
wall, and adjust the focus adjustment roller until the image is clear.
Note: If it is still blurry, please try to adjust the projection distance
and projector placement.
SETTING UP THE PROJECTOR
The projector’s home page is as follow:
WiFi Setting
- The fluency of screen mirroring with a wireless connection will be affected by the network environment. A bandwidth of l00Mbit or more is recommended when using screen mirroring.
- Make sure your mobile device is close to the projector when using wireless connection. A distance within l meter is recommended.
- Some mobile devices may not support screen mirroring due to the compatibility.
Wireless Connection

For iOS Cast (Airplay)
Attention: Ensure that your iOS device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your projector. -
Connect the TR26 projector to your WiFi network.

Back to home page– Select [ Wireless screen ] menu — Stay on this interface.

Access the [ Control Center l on your iOS device — Select the [ Screen Mirroring l function — Select and connect the iOS Cast receiver named [TOPTRO-TR26-xxxx] — iOS device screen will be mirrored and displayed on the projection screen.

For Android System (Miracast)
- Screen Mirroring Methods: Android devices from different brands may use various terms and methods to enable screen mirroring. To find the exact steps for your device, please refer to your device’s manual. Common terms for screen mirroring include Multi-screen, Wireless Display, WLAN Display, Screen Mirroring, and Smart View.
- Device Compatibility: Please note that not all Android phones support the screen mirroring function. Before attempting to use screen mirroring, ensure that your Android device supports this feature. You can check your device’s manual or look for the screen mirroring option in the settings to verify compatibility.
- Make sure to enable the WLAN function on your Android device. (Connecting to any Wi-Fi network is not necessary.)
- Back to home page– Select [ Wireless screen ] menu -Stay on this interface
- Access the [ Control Center ] on your Android device, select [ Screen Mirroring/ Smart View ]
- Select and connect the Miracast receiver named [TOPTRO-TR26-xxxx]
- 0nce connected successfully, your Android device screen will be mirrored and displayed on the projection screen.
Wired Screen
- Android Connect by Cables
- Install the Elfcast App first by scanning the provided QR code.
- Confirm to open Elfcast in the pop-up window of your device.
- Enter your device password if prompted, to authenticate the connection.
- Your Android device will be automatically wired to the same screen.
- iOS Connect by Cables
- Connect your iPhone to a projector using the original iPhone charging cable (USB to Lightning)
- Click “Trust” when a pop-up window appears on your device.
- Enter your device password if prompted, to authenticate the connection.
Bluetooth
- Connect Bluetooth Speakers
1. Turn on your Bluetooth Speaker.

Note:
1. The TR26 projector is compatible with most Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth speakers, and Airpods. However, please note that it is not compatible with Bluetooth keyboards or Bluetooth phones.
2. If you encounter no sound while playing videos, we recommend checking the Dolby sound settings on your connected devices. Turning off Dolby sound can ensure better audio compatibility with the projector.
3. Some Bluetooth speakers may experience a significant reduction in volume when connected to the projector. To address this issue, try increasing the volume on all relevant devices to achieve the desired sound level.

Multimedia Play
- USB Disk Input Mode
- Insert the USB flash disk into the USB port of the projector.
- Select “Media” and the press the “OK” key to enter
- Depending on the file type, select the option [Movie/Music/Photo/Book]
- Select the desired file and then press the [OK] button to play it.
- Click “MENU” button on the remote while playing video to adjust the picture settings directly.
Warm Tips: If your projector cannot recognize the USB disk, please follow the methods below to resolve the issue. Please ensure that your USB disk meets the following formats:
FAT32: 8GB/16GB/32GB
NTFS: 64GB-2TB
If it doesn’t meet these criteria, you will need to change a supported format USB disk. If the problem persists, please send a detailed description of your issue to the following email address: service@toptro.com

SIGNAL LINES CONNECTION
TOPTRO TR26 projector has 3 interfaces, HDMI portl/ USB portl/ 3.5mm headphone output*l, please select the correct port to connect your device (PC, DVD Player, Fire TV stick, TV box, Sound bar, USB disk, PS4 etc.).

Connect via USB Disk

Insert the USB flash disk into the USB port of the projector.

Select “Media” and the press the “OK” key to enter.

Depending on the file type, select the option [Movie/Music/Photo/Book]

Select the desired file and then press the [OK] button to play it.

Connect to Devices via HDMI Port
-
Connect your Fire TV stick ( or PC, XBOX, PS4 etc.) to the HDMI port of the projector.

Enter the home page to select the corresponding HDMI as the signal source.

Connect to Speaker
- Use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect with speaker.
- Turn on the projector and the speaker(choose AUX mode).

Connect to DVD Player

Turn on your DVD player and the projector.

Connect to the DVD Player and the projector with the HDMI cable.

Enter the home page to select the corresponding HDMI as the signal source.
Note: When the projector is connected to the DVD player via the HDMI cable, if there is no sound, it may be that the output signal of the HDMI port of the DVD player is not compatible with HDCP, please try to connect your speaker. -
Connect to Computer

Connect to the computer and TR26 projector with the HDMI cable.

Select the HDMI source to project any files on your computer;

On your laptop, hold down the key “Win+P” board keys to change your display mode.
NOTE: For MacBook, Use a Type-C to HDMI adapter to connect your MacBook, or a Mini Display to HDMI adapter to connect with your Mac Book Air (adapter not included).
- Computer only: This is the default option and will display the screen only on the main monitor.
- Duplicate: To duplicate your desktop on all connected monitors.
- Extend: To extend your desktop across multiple monitors.
- Projector only: Use the secondary monitor (projector)only and keep the main monitor off.
To change the screen resolution in Projector Only mode, follow these steps:
Step: Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Adjust Screen Resolution.
