Power Operation

Plug the included AC/DC power adapter (120V/60Hz 5V) into the DC POWER INPUT on the dock and an AC power outlet to power the dock.

Battery Backup

The battery backup is intended for short power outages only. The clock radio’s primary functions cannot run off of the battery backup alone. Requires 2 AA- size, batteries (not included).

Clock / Sleep Timer

Setting the Clock

  1. Press and hold the power off mode Time Set/Preset button until the display begins flashing.
  2. Press the Hour and Minute buttons to adjust the time. The PM indicator will light when the hour is set in the PM.
  3. Press the Time Set/Preset button again to finish, or wait for the display to stop flashing.

Setting the Sleep Timer

  1. Power on the radio on press the Snooze button to adjust the timer (90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 min or OFF).
  2. Once the set sleep time has expired the clock radio will automatically power off.

Alarm Setting the Alarm

  1. If in radio mode, press and hold the POWER/SOURCE button to turn the unit off.
  2. Press the Volume+/Alarm 2 button or the Volume-/ Alarm 1 button.
  3. Press the Tuning-/Hour button to adjust the hour.
    • The PM indicator will light when the hour is set in the PM
  4. Press the Tuning+/Minute button to adjust the minute.
    • The Alarm One or Alarm Two indicator will come on.
  5. Press the Volume+/Alarm 2 button or Volume-/ Alarm 1 button repeatedly to switch between Radio(FM) Buzzer(bb) or off.
  6. Once the set alarm time is reached, the alarm will sound.
  7. To set the other alarm, follow the above steps and choose the alarm not currently set.

Canceling the Alarm

  1. Follow the instructions for Setting the Alarm.
  2. Press the Volume+/Alarm 2 button or Volume-/ Alarm 1 button repeatedly until the display shows “OFF” and the indicator will no longer light.

Snooze and Alarm Reset

  • When the alarm sounds, press the Snooze/Sleep button to delay the alarm for an additional 9 minutes.
  • Press the Power/Source button to turn the alarm off unit the set alarm time is reached aqain.

Radio

Radio Reception

To improve FM radio reception, adjust the position of the clock radio.

Tuning the FM Radio

  1. Power on the radio and press the Power/Source button again to switch the FM radio mode.
  2. Press the Tuning ‡ buttons to find the desired radio frequency.
  3. Press the Volume $ buttons to adjust the volume of the radio.

Saving a Station as a Preset

  1. With the radio on, press and hold the Play/Pause/ FM Auto Scan Button to search stations in the FM band, and will store stations automatically.
  2. Press the Tuning ‡ buttons to choose the desired preset station, 1 to 20 through the FM band.

AUX IN Connect to External Device

  1. Plug one end of an audio 3.5mm plug cable (not included) into the AUX IN jack at the top side of unit and the other end of the cable to the headphone jack of your digital audio player.
  2. Press and hold the Power/Source button to turn on the unit.
  3. Press the Power/Source button again to select AUX IN mode.
  4. Make sure your external music player is turned on.
  5. Start music playback on your external music player.
  6. Slowly adjust both the volume controls of your unit and the external device until you reach a comfortable listening level.

USB

Connect the USB Port for Charging

This unit has built-in 5V / 2.4A output power for charging mobile phones, tablets or portable audio devices.

  1. Plug the USB cable (not included) into the USB Charging Port.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your device to activate charging automatically.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Clean the unit with a soft, damp (never wet) cloth. Solvent or detergent should never be used.
  2. Avoid operating your unit under direct sunlight or in hot, humid, or dusty places to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.
  3. Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps or motors.
  4. For better clock display clarity, avoid operating the unit under direct sunlight or in strong room illumination.
  5. Unplug the AC adapter from the unit and the electrical power outlet immediately in case of malfunction.
