Product Usage Instructions
Connection Steps:
- Connect the CAN RJ cable between the CAN RJ port on the MMIGRS2 and the CAN RJ port on the first EKE 1C.
- If prompted with the BIOS screen, choose Application. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
- Access the Setup&Service menu by holding the Enter button for approximately 3 seconds. The default login password is 300.
- Scroll down to Communication, press Enter, then select Controller to set the EKE address using the Up/Down arrows.
- Repeat steps 2-4 for additional EKE controllers, ensuring a separate address is assigned to each.
- Connect the CAN wiring between CAN H, CAN L, and GND terminals as instructed. For more than two EKE’s, use a point-to-point daisy chain.
- To switch the display view between controllers, simultaneously hold X and Enter buttons until the BIOS menu is displayed. Select MCX SELECTION and then MAN SELECTION to choose the desired address.

- Q: What should I do if the connection to EKE is unsuccessful?

Operating Guide
EKE 1C to MMIGRS2
- Connect the CAN RJ cable (part #080G0075) between the CAN RJ port on MMIGRS2 to the CAN RJ port on the first EKE 1C.
- If initially prompted with the BIOS screen, choose “Application”. Otherwise, if the overview screen is displayed, proceed to step 3.
- Go to the Setup&Service menu by holding the “Enter” button for approx. 3 seconds. If prompted for the password, the default login is 300.
- Scroll down to Communication and press Enter. Then press Enter on the “Controller” option to set the EKE address. Use the Up/Down arrows to select the desired address and press Enter.
- Repeat steps 2-4 for additional EKE controllers, ensuring separate addresses are assigned to each.
- Connect CAN wiring between CAN H, CAN L, and GND terminals as shown below. For more than two EKEs, use a point-to-point daisy chain.
- To switch the display view between controllers, hold “X” and “Enter” buttons simultaneously until the BIOS menu is displayed. Choose “MCX SELECTION” from menu, and “MAN SELECTION” from 2nd menu.Then use Up/Down arrows to scroll to desired address and press Enter
