Setting up the Guardian™ 4 app

The Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system, sends glucose readings every 5 minutes, 24/7, giving patients the reassurance to stay ahead of their glucose levels.¹,²

  • Patients download the app and create a Carelink™ personal account
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the sensor
  • Insert the sensor (B) and set up the alerts

Setting up the InPen™ app

Automatically helps track insulin data, administer personalised insulin doses and lets patients know if a dose is missed.

  • Patients download the InPen™ app and create an account
  • Pair the InPen™ insulin pen to the app
  • Follow the app tutorial in the app

Connecting the Guardian™ 4 app with the InPen™ app

InPen™ system and Guardian™ 4 system are designed to work together.

  • Connect the two apps together by following the final InPen™ app instructions
  • Patients will be prompted to enter their CareLink™ Personal username and password
  • The Guardian™ app sends the glucose data to the InPen™ system app so patients have a one-stop, clear view
  • A Care Partner account can be set up for the care partner to be invited and be involved
4 Start receiving reports

Your patients can send you their InPen™ insight reports by email via the app.
