USING YOUR APPLIANCE

Before first use:

  1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
  2. Check that there is no damage to the appliance or cord.
  3. Check all listed parts are present.
  4. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance. DO NOT remove the rating label or any warnings. Dispose of the packaging responsibly.
  5. Place the appliance on a level, stable and heat-resistant surface in accordance to the important safeguards section.
  6. Clean drawers and crisper plates with hot, soapy water and a soft sponge before use. Wipe the appliance inside and out with a damp cloth to sanitize.
  7. DO NOT fill the compartment or trays with oil, frying fat or any other liquid. This is an oil-free fryer, that works on hot air.
  8. DO NOT place any object on top of the appliance, as this will disrupt the airflow and the hot air frying will be affected as a result of this.

Notice : When your air fryer is heated for the first time, it may emit a slight smoke or odor. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your appliance.

Removing the drawer:

The drawer can be removed fully from the Air Fryer. Pull on the handle to slide the drawer out of the Air fryer.

NOTE : If the drawer is removed from the main body of the fryer when in operation, the unit will automatically stop the cooking process on that side. When the drawer is re-inserted, the air fryer will resume operating on the settings it was programmed to last.

Preparing for first use:

  1. Position the appliance on a sturdy, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
  2.  Insert the grill plate into the basket.
    •  Avoid filling the basket with oil or any liquid.
    • Do not place objects on top of the appliance, as it may obstruct airflow and impact air frying results.

Using your appliance:

  1. Insert the mains plug into a grounded wall socket.
  2. Gently pull the basket out of the air fryer.
  3. Place the ingredients into the basket.
  4. Carefully slide the basket back into the air fryer, ensuring alignment with the guides in the fryer body. Always use the appliance with the basket inside.
    • Caution : Avoid touching the basket during and immediately after use, as it becomes very hot. Handle the basket only by its handle.
    • 1. Determine the required cooking time for the food.
    • 2. Some ingredients may require shaking halfway through cooking. To do so, pull out the basket by its handle, shake it, then slide it back into the air fryer.
  • Tip: If you set the timer for half the cooking time, you’ll hear a buzzer signaling when to shake the ingredients. However, you’ll need to reset the timer for the remaining cooking time afterward.
  1. When the timer buzzes, indicating that the set cooking time has elapsed, pull out the basket. Note: You can manually switch off the appliance by setting the timer to 0.
  2. Check if the food is ready. If not, simply slide the basket back in and set the timer for additional minutes.
  3. To remove food (e.g., fries), pull out the basket and place it on a heat-resistant surface.

Avoid tipping the basket upside down with food inside, as any excess oil may drip onto the food. Depending on the food type, steam may escape from the basket, so exercise caution when opening the air fryer drawer.

  1. Empty the contents into a bowl or onto a plate, using heat-resistant spatulas or food tongs.
  2. Once a batch of food is cooked, the air fryer is immediately ready to prepare another batch.

Tips

  1. Smaller ingredients generally require a shorter preparation time compared to larger ones.
  2. To ensure even frying, shake smaller ingredients midway through cooking.
  3. For an extra crispy result, lightly coat fresh potatoes with oil.
  4. Most oven-prepared foods can also be cooked in the air fryer.
  5. For optimal crispy fries, aim for 500 grams.
  6. Utilize pre-made dough for quick and effortless-filled snacks.
  7. If baking cakes, quiches, or foods with fillings, place a baking liner or oven-safe dish in the air fryer basket to prevent leaks.
  8. Reheat ingredients by setting the temperature to 150°C for up to 10 minutes in the air fryer.
