DS-1 Distance Tube Subwoofer
Thank you for purchasing this distance tube. Model DS-1 can be adjusted in height and connects satellite and subwoofer speaker systems with standard mounting flanges. This product is designed for designed for even load distribution of up to 30 kg and is intended for professional use, e.g. on stages and in discotheques.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Only use the product according to the instructions given herein. Damages due to failure to follow these operating instructions will void the warranty! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage.
- We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such cases, the warranty will be null and void.
- Unauthorized rebuilds or modifications of the product are not permitted for reasons of safety and render the warranty invalid.
- This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children. Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly.
- Danger of tipping – Satellite systems may tip over and cause injuries and property damage. Therefore keep the immediate area around the satellite system clear and ensure that persons do not stand in this area.
- Install the distance tube only on even and solid surfaces (max. inclination 5°) that can support the weight of the installation.
- Do not move the installation while the satellite is mounted.
- Make sure the load is evenly distributed on the distance tube and the maximum load capacity specified is not exceeded.
- Make sure that the installation complies with the standards and rules that apply in your country.
- This product is intended for indoor use only. Using it outdoors could lead to product failure and personal injury.
- Before taking into operation, check upon possible damages. If defective, the distance tube must not be taken into operation.
- This product is maintenance-free, except for occasional cleaning. You can use a slightly dampened cloth for cleaning.
- Comply with all applicable disposal laws in your country.
MOUNTING
- Insert the distance tube into the flange of the upper side of the subwoofer.
- Loosen the locking screw and bolt, then pull out the tube to the desired height.
- Insert the locking bolt through the openings and lower the tube until it rests on the locking pin. Tighten the locking screw.
- Mount the satellite speaker on top of the tube. If required, consult the instructions of the satellite speaker.
- Disassembly is effected in reverse order.
