The CD link of the Joy S22 CD player is not compatible with the STUDIOMASTER M500/M300. Therefore, you have to use a different method of operation here. Connect the audio output of the JOY S22 CD Player to the corresponding input of the STUDIOMASTER M500/M300. The STUDIOMASTER has sensitive inputs. As soon as the JOY S22 CD Player sends a signal, the M500/M300 switches to the corresponding input to play the audio signal.

This results in the following alternative operating options:

STUDIOCONTROL C200 with RCoid App

You can download the app „RCoid free“ from the Play Store (the Pro version is available for €9.99)

To load the file to your Remote Control, click on the three dots at the bottom left and select Download RCoid file. Go to R, select Revox and the corresponding S22.rcf file.
Now you can control your JOY S22 CD Player with the RCoid App via the IR transmitter of the STUDIOCONTROL C200.

S208 with JOY S22 CD Player Programming

To programme the S208 Remote Rontrol with the JOY S22 IR code, you need to download Easy Creator (works on Windows PCs)

Install the S208 Easy Creator on your PC.
Open the programme and select „Open project“.
Open the previously downloaded File S208_JOYS22CD.S208:

Operation with RC M100 or RC M117 remote control

With the RC-M100 Remote Control, you can control the JOY S22 CD Player via IR commands.

No further programming is necessary here. The following functions can be operated:

Control the JOY S22 CD player via multiuser proxy

Another option is the programming of a proxy at multiuser level. This requires a Revox Global Caché LAN IP to RS232 converter, item no.: 156304902, as well as the JOY CD player programming cable, item no.: 156102040.

If the control of a Joy CD player via the serial intertace is required, the Joy CD player may not be connected with a Joy receiver over the CD-ink connection.
