in general.
Thank you for purchasing the efficient PureMate PM 200 logic air purifier. We wish you many years of healthy indoor air with this innovative product.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- This machine uses AC 220- 240V/50Hz for UK & Europe Over voltage may cause fire hazard of electric shock.
- To prevent electric shock, do not dismantle, repair or modify this product freely. Maintenance and cleaning shall be processed as exactly as what is instructed in this manual.
- In case of malfunction, please contact the authorized maintenance center.
- Do not use in places where flammable and explosive materials are stored
- Do not subject the device to direct sunlight or near high temperature objects. Internal temperature rise in serious cases may cause fire, in mild cases may cause deformation of the outer casing.(stop operation when ambient temperature exceeds 40°C
- Do not allow foreign objects into the device. High voltage inside the device may cause electric shock. Children should not be allowed to touch or play with this device to avoid accidents.
- To prevent fire or electric shock hazard, do not place the unit in wet places where water may enter the device.
- Do not use fabrics or other materials to cover this device. Obstructed air inlets and outlets will result in abnormal operation of this device that may lead to fire or other accidents.
- To prevent interference and distortion, the device should be placed at least 1 meter away from the computer, television or radio.
- For safety reasons and to prevent fire or electric shock, unplug the power cord from the electric outlet socket under the following conditions: •When you do not use the device for a long period. •When cleaning, servicing the machine or during replacement of filter materials. •When you move the device.
WARNING
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
authorized service personnel or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
electric shocks and fire hazards.
PRODUCT FEATURES
- The PM 200’s uniquely designed dust collection plates efficiently capture airborne dust, pollen, mould spores, pet dander, and even cigarette smoke near the unit, where negative ion levels are highest. These collection plates help prevent “black wall effect”. Dust away from the unit will fall safely to the ground, and regular cleaning activity will finish off the job.
- The PM 200 generates thousands of negative ions that bind with allergens, microbes and other pollutants (including bacteria, cigarette smoke, mites and other microbes, odours etc., effectively prevent air transmitted diseases) removing them from the air, keeping it fresh and clean.
- Neutralizes poisonous gases, eliminates cigarettes smoke as well as other offensive odours to make air pure and fresh.
- Static electricity dust collector captures airborne dust, pollen, mould, mites and allergen.
- No Mechanical parts, Silent operation, save energy. No replacement of filters and other consumable materials
- The PM 200 fills the room with negative ion levels similar to those near waterfalls, leaving the air with a rain-fresh, clean scent that also eliminates odours and promotes good health.
WHERE TO PUT THE PM 200?
- Elevated Location: Optimal elevation is three feet or more off the ground, although it is not absolutely necessary to place the unit high off the ground.
- Air Flow: If you can place the unit near a source of air flow for the room or area, such as by a fan or supply vent, the negative ions will be distributed more effectively.
- Open Area: Place the unit where it’s output will achieve more effective distribution.
- Centralized Location: The more this air ionizer is centrally located, the more area it can cover. Placing it in a corner or against a wall will typically suffice for most rooms though.
- Near Source of Pollution: The closer the unit is placed to a source of pollution, the more effective it will be.
WHERE TO PUT THE PM 200?
NOTE : For people with respiratory problems.
- misuasateeure and trash air provided by he real i Puries. Ne there rest goes putting the PM 200 in the room where these individuals would spend mos
- For individuals who have chronic respiratory problems, we recommend that the PM 200 be set at low at night time, if the ionizer is in the bedroom, since respiratory activities differ in sleep.
Since the unit produces moderate levels of Active Oxygen (Ozone), it is not recommended to breathe too closely in front of the grill. Maintain a distance of at least 3 foot from the unit.
Wall Mount Instructions
Measure the distance between the nail head / screw head holes on the bottom
of the unit, and mark this distance on the wall. Insert the screws (which are
included with the PM 200) into the wall, at the marked locations. Finally, fit
the unit’s holes over the top of the screw heads.
Vehicle Placement Instructions
Place the ioniser behind the back seat, if there are no children seated in the
back seat. If there are children, place the ioniser on the front passenger
seat, or attach onto the dashboard, using the adhesive pads which are included
in the box. Simply plug in the provided cigarette lighter adaptor and turn the
unit on “low” for safe car operation. Always turn the unit off during fueling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the PM 200 before performing any maintenance.
- Turn the PM 200 upside down and place it on a towel. Loosen the two screws that
- Holine operates nor not watered deal the mates as ty sponge, ten rinse. (Figure 2)
- Use a mild detergent to clean the exterior of the PM 200
- Reach inside the unit with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol and touch the tips of the needle points to remove dust from the tips from time to time.
- An irregular hissing sound is an indication that the needle points have collected too much dust and are need of cleaning.
- Perform maintenance when needed or at least once a month to keep your PM 200 operating at peak performance.
CAUTION
Plate’s edges are sharp so please use a towel or thick fabric to avoid
injuries
TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
Strange smell from the unit
- The PM 200 produces ozone only as a by product of the needlepoint ionization, creating only moderate and safe levels. Depending on the size of the room, and the ventilation, it will produce about 0.015 to 0.04 ppm (parts per million) of ozone, which is well within FDA and OSHA standards.
- The best way to remedy a strong ozone smell is to somehow increase air flow near or around the unit, or place it in a more open area, where there is a better air current. Exam- ples can include turning on a ceiling fan, temporarily opening a window, and opening the door to the room. It may become necessary to run the unit on low, since the space may be small enough that it does not require the continuous use of the unit.
Cannot turn on the unit
- When removing the collector plates for periodic cleaning, please note that it must be returned to the unit in exactly the same position for a flush fit. Reversing the position will result in an incomplete closure and the unit will not function properly.
- Unit is making a zapping or hissing noise: This is simply a sign that the dust collection plate and the ionizer needle points need to be wiped off. The zapping sound is just a result of a significant amount of dust build-up on the collection plate, which results in a static charge between the dust on the collector, and one of the ion-producing electrodes.
