Product Usage Instructions

Fixture Installation:

1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B).
2. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box or the GROUND SCREW (E) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A).
3. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral wire in the outlet box and fasten with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (D).
4. Connect the black fixture leads to the hot wire in the junction box and fasten them securely.
5. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (E) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with FIXTURE MOUNTING SCREW (F).
6. Attach the SHADE (F) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (E) and secure using the SOCKET RING (G).
7. Screw the BULB (H) into the SOCKET of the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (E). Use a 15-watt Type A bulb.
8. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.

• Q: What type of bulb should I use with this fixture?
  A: This fixture is rated for a 15-watt Type A bulb. Do not exceed the recommended wattage.

• Q: Can I mount this fixture on any type of junction box?
  A: This fixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction boxes. Ensure the junction box is securely mounted to the building structure.

• Q: How should I connect the ground wire?
  A: Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box or use the GROUND SCREW (E) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). Never connect the ground wire to a hot wire.

1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). This fixture is designed to be mounted on a standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.
2. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bare copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (E) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO “HOT” WIRE! FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
3. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (D). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connection seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRES OR STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!
4. Connect the black fixture to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires the same as in the previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
5. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (E) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with FIXTURE MOUNTING SCREW (F).
6. Attach the SHADE (F) onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (E) and secure using the SOCKET RING (G).
7. Screw the BULB (H) into the SOCKET of the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (E). THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 15-WATT TYPE A. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!
8. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
