FIXTURE INSTALLATION

  1. Thread the NIPPLE (C) onto the MOUNTING PLATE (A). Adjust the NIPPLE (C) so that the threads extend 5/8″ beyond the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L) and secure using TOOTH WASHER (D) and HEX NUT (E)

  2. Feed the WIRE (O) through the SNAP IN BUSHING (I), COUPLING (H), CANOPY (J), NIPPLE(C) until you desired hanging height is met.

  3. Tie an overhand knot to secure the wire in place above the NIPPLE (E). Trim off excess wire minimum6″ beyond the knot and Strip each wire end 5/8″.

  4. Push the SNAP-IN BUSHING (I) into the COUPLING (H).

  5. Lift the MOUNTING PLATE (A) up to the junction box and use the MOUNTING SCREWS (B) to attach to the junction box. This fixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.

  6. Attach the Ground wire to the ground inside the junction box (Generally green or bare copper wire)or the GROUND SCREW (F) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO”HOT” WIRE FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH

  7. Connect the fixture’s Neutral wire lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (G). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener.
MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT

  8. Connect the fixture’s hot wire lead to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOWTHIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH

  9. Push the wires back into the junction box. Lift up the CANOPY (J) up to the ceiling, then thread the COUPLING (H) onto the NIPPLE (C) and secure the wire using PLASTIC FLATHEAD SCREW (K) using the SCREW DRIVER (N).

  10. Screw the BULB (M) up into the SOCKET of the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L). THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 15WATT TYPE G25 LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE
