Please read these instructions carefully and keep for future reference

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. The specified voltage must match the mains voltage. Use an adequate wire cross-section.
  2. The appliance air inlet and outlet openings must not be obstructed in any way!
  3. Never move the heater during operating, always unplug heater when not in use.
  4. Never use the appliance if the appliance or cord is damaged. The appliance may only be opened up and repaired by authorized qualified personnel.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.

WARNING – to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property:

  1. Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on the product identification plate.
  2. Remove the unit from its packaging and check to make sure it is in good condition before using.
  3. Do not let children play with parts of the packing ( such as plastic bags)
  4. Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children or infirm persons. Do not allow children to use it as a toy.
  5. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunctions, or is dropped or appears damaged in any way.
  6. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair or replacement.
  7. Before unplugging the power cord, be sure to turn the power off. When touching the unit, be sure your hands are dry to prevent electrical shock.
  8. Ensure the cord is fully extended before use and arrange it so that it is not in contact with any part of the heater.
  9. In use, some parts of the heater are hot. When moving, hold the heater only by the handle provided.
  10. Do not use the heater in areas such as garages where petrol, paint or other flammable substances are used or stored.
  11. Do not use near or point the heater to furniture, animals, curtains or other inflammable objects. Keep combustible materials such as furniture, bedding and any other combustible materials at least 1 metre from the front and sides, and from the rear of the heater.
  12. Do not place the cord under carpet or cover with throw rugs or furniture. Arrange the cord so that it cannot be tripped over.
  13. Do not place the heater on bedding or on thick and long pile carpet where the openings may be blocked.
  14. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product or flexible cord to rain, moisture or any liquid other than those necessary for correct operation of the product.
  15. This product should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub, washbowls, bathroom swimming pool etc. where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.
  16. Switch off and unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug – do not pull on the cord.
  17. A common cause of overheating is deposits of dust and fluff entering the heater. Ensure these deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the heater, allowing it to cool and cleaning as described in the Care, Cleaning and Storage section.
  18. Be sure that no other high-current appliances are plugged into the same circuit with your heater as an overload can occur.
  19. Avoid the use of an extension cord as the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
  20. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
  21. Do not use outdoors. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
  22. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
  23. Do not place objects on the product or allow objects to obstruct the inlet or outlet openings, or operate in close proximity to walls or curtains, etc. Do not cover the unit when in operation.
  24. Do not locate the heater immediately below a socket-outlet.
  25. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the product distributor may cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
  26. This product is intended for normal domestic/household use only.
  27. Use this heater as described in this manual. Any other uses, not recommended by the manufacturer, may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons and may void the warranty.
  28. Do not use this heater if it has been dropped;
  29. Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heater;
  30. Use this heater on a horizontal and stable surface, or fix it to the wall, as applicable.
  31. WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
  32. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or any other flammable material a minimum distance of 1 m from the air outlet.

LOCATION

The appliance should be placed with a minimum distance of 90cm away from flammable objects (e.g. curtains), walls or other structures!

POWER CORD

  1. Use only an approved extension cord that is suitable for the appliance rating!
  2. Do not lay the cord under a carpet. Do not lay rugs, mats or similar articles on it. Position the cord so that it does not pose an obstruction or a tripping hazard.
  3. Never pull the plug out of the socket at the cord!
  4. Always disconnect the mains plug when the appliance is not in use.
  5. Attention! The appliance may only be used for normal domestic use and not for industrial purposes.

BEFORE USE

  1. Before use, remove all packaging and inspect the appliance for any damages. If there are appears to be any damages, please take back to place of purchase for a replacement.
  2. Ensure that all the accessories are included as per the diagram above before you can continue with the installation.
  3. Ensure that the location of the heater installed is not directly under a power socket and that a power socket is available to power the appliances for use.
  4. Refer to the installation guide for further instructions.

USING THE HEATER

  1. Before inserting the plug into an electrical outlet, make sure that the electrical supply in your area matches that on the rating label on the unit.
  2. When plugged in, turn on the Main power switch at the base side of unit.
  3. When in Standby mode, only ON/OFF on the control panel will respond to your touch.

Press ON/OFF to access the rest of the control panel.

  • a) Low Power (Press POWER to switch it)
  • b) High Power (Press POWER to switch it)
  • C) Timer: Press this repeatedly to set a period after which the heater will turn itself off (between 0 hour – 12 hours)
  • d) + , – : adjust room temperature .Temperature setting from 10-35 degrees. “+” to increase the desired temperature and “” to decrease the desired temperature. If the ambient temperature is greater than or equal to the set temperature, stop heating; When the ambient temperature is less than 2 degrees below the set temperature, the set temperature of the product is 10-35 degrees.
  • e) Swing: Press this to activate oscillation. Press again to cancel.
  • f) Night lamp: Press this button, the lamp is on, press again to cancel.
  • g) turn on or turn off item. item always keeps working for 30 seconds of cool air after turning off it. this design can protect item use longer.

Warning:

  1. Before removing the plug from the socket, switch it off and work for 30-60 seconds for cool down in a condition that protects the inner parts.

All the functions performed with the remote control work identically to the manual controls.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION

This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheat,e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool and remove the object that is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.

NOTE: To assist in maintaining the internal components, after pressing the OFF button the fan will continue to blow room air for a period of 30-60 seconds before shutting down to standby.

Battery

The remote control use one button cells, model No. CR2025 (3V). We recommend the use of Lithium type battery for longer use.AEXERO-KPT-2000-5185L-2000

Note: Please follow battery disposal instructions on battery packaging, or contact your local councils for safe disposal of batteries.

SAFETY SYSTEM

  • In the event of abnormal overheating, a safety device shuts down the appliance automatically. After a short cooling down phase, the appliance is ready for use again.
  • If you still notice the same defect as above mentioned, remove the plug from the socket and consult your authorized dealer to your after-sales service department.
  • During use, do not touch or cover the air outlet. This may cause the unit to overheat, and the safety device to operate.
  • The unit is also fitted with a tip-over switch. Do not use on thick and long pile carpets, as the heater may not work, due the tip-over switch not being activated.

MAINTENANCE

  • Your appliance must be switched OFF via the main power supply and unplugged before proceeding with any cleaning work.
  • Clean the housing with a lightly damp cloth, a vacuum cleaner or a dusting brush. Never use flammable or abrasive cleaning agents such as benzene or spirit to clean the appliance.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water!
  • Clean the air inlet and outlet regularly with a vacuum cleaner.
  • If the appliance is not used for an extended period it must be protected against excessive dust and dirt. Please dismount the heater and store in a dry place away from sunlight and dirt.

SPECIFICATIONS

CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT

When the time comes to eliminate this product, please consider the environmental impact and take it to a recognized recycling facility instead of disposing it with general household waste. Take the equipment to a waste disposal site. Plastic and metal parts that are used in the construction of this appliance can be separated into pure grades which allows recycling. Ask your service centre for details. Every one of us can participate in environmental protection.
