Usage Instructions

Safety Precautions
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference. Failure to follow the instructions may result in injury or damage to the appliance.

Step 1: Preparing the Appliance

1. Place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
2. Ensure that the detachable non-stick rack and bucket are properly inserted into the appliance.
3. Connect the appliance to a power source using the provided power cord.

Step 2: Setting the Temperature and Time

1. Press the TEMP/TIME setting button (12) to enter the temperature and time adjustment mode.
2. Use the temperature/time decrease button (-) (11) or increase button (+) (14) to adjust the desired temperature and cooking time.

Step 3: Starting the Cooking Process

1. Press the START/STOP button (15) to start the cooking process.
2. The programs indication lights (7) will illuminate to indicate the selected cooking program.

Step 4: Monitoring the Cooking Process
During the cooking process, you can monitor the temperature and time on the temperature display (8) and time display (9).

Step 5: Adjusting the Temperature and Time During Cooking

1. To increase or decrease the temperature, press the temperature/time decrease button (-) (11) or increase button (+) (14).
2. To adjust the cooking time, press the TEMP/TIME setting button (12) and use the temperature/time decrease button (-) or increase button (+).

Step 6: Pausing or Stopping the Cooking Process
To pause or stop the cooking process, press the START/STOP button (15).

Step 7: Using the WIFI Functionality
If your appliance is equipped with WIFI functionality, follow the instructions provided in the user manual to connect it to your WIFI network and control it remotely.

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference. Please keep the sales receipt for guarantee purposes (pls see below “Guarantee and Customer Service”) Any use which does not conform to the instructions will absolve IZZY from any liability.

• Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the underside of the appliance.
• Always plug your device into an outlet that is earthed. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in electric shock and possible serious injury.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when it is operating.
• Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children or infirm persons. Ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, children or those with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Switch off and unplug:
  • After each use.
  • Before cleaning.
  • Before moving
• Never use the appliance for any other use than indicated.
• The device is intended for indoor use. Do not use the device outdoors.
• The device is intended only for domestic use. Any other use will cancel the warranty.
• Always use the air fryer on a secure, dry, clean and heat resistant surface.
• Do not operate or place the device or parts in places of high humidity or where it may get wet.
• Never let the body of the appliance, cord or plug get wet. If the appliance does get wet, immediately remove the power cord from the wall outlet and do not put your hands in the water. Never run the wet appliance and contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers.
• Do not place the appliance near heat sources, on or next gas or electric hobs.
• The appliance must have sufficient airflow. Leave more than 10 cm around the appliance.
• Don’t put the appliance near curtains, under shelves or cupboards, or near anything that might be damaged by the escaping steam.
• Don’t cover the appliance or put anything on top of it during use. ATTENTION: During use, be careful and do not touch the air outlet, on the back of the appliance. Hot air comes out.
• Misuse of the air fryer can result in injury.
• Do not let the power cord of the appliance hang over the edge of a table or bench top or where a child could grab it. Do not let the power cord to touch any hot surface.
• Never pull the cord to disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply. Instead grasp the plug and pull it to disconnect.
• Never leave the power cable wrapped during use. Unwind it completely.
• Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents. Never use metal scouring pads for cleaning.
  • CAUTION : The surface of the appliance is hot during operation. Do not touch hot parts of the appliance during operation.
  • CAUTION : Do not let the resistance of the appliance to get wet. CAUTION: Unplug the appliance immediately if you see dark smoke coming out. Wait for the smoke emission to stop before removing the bucket.
• It is suggested that it should not be used for more than 3 hours.
• Do not move the appliance when it is in operation.
• Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
• Do not use an extension power cord.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• Check the power cord periodically for possible damages. If the power cord or the plug of the appliance has been damaged, do not use the appliance and contact an authorized BENRUBI Service Center.
• In case of a possible damage, do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Please contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers.
• Any repair made by an unauthorized BENRUBI Service Center CANCELS THE GUARANTEE.
• Any misuse of the device cancels the warranty.
• Use only original spare parts.
• The appliance conforms to EU directive 2014/30/EU on Electromagnetic Compatibility, the 2014/35/EU Low Voltage Directive, the 2011/65/EU RoHS Directive, the directive 2009/125/EC for eco-design and the EC regulation no. 1935/2004 on materials intended to contact with food.

Programs & Preset Times & Temperatures
The following table lists the programs and the preset temperatures and times. Use this table for reference only.

Before the First Use
Make sure the appliance is switched off and unplugged before use.

NOTE : Smoke and odors may occur during first use.

1. Wash the parts of the appliance. See “Care and Cleaning” section.

2. Place the appliance on a clean, flat and heat-resistant surface.

3. Place the rack (4) in the bucket (5).
   Note : Insert the rack so that the arrows point as below:
   Note : Do not use the appliance without the detachable rack.

4. Insert the bucket in the reception without food until it snaps into place.
   Note : If the bucket does not fit well into the reception, the appliance will not turn on.

5. Plug in. A sound will be heard, all the lights on the control panel (1) will turn on for a while and then the power button (13) will remain on

6. Press the power button (13). A beep will sound, the lights on the control panel will turn on and the display will show “180oC” and “15:00

7. Press the TEMP/TIME button (12) until the temperature flashes on the display

8. Press the “+” button (12) successively to set 200oC.

9. Press the TEMP/TIME button (12) until the time flashes on the display

10. Press the “-” button (12) successively to set 5 minutes.

11. Press the “START/STOP” button (15) to start.

12. When the program is finished, it will beep 5 times, the display will show and all indications will turn off. The WIFI light and indicator will remain on.

13. The appliance is ready for use.

Using the Appliance

• Make sure the appliance is switched off and unpluggedbefore use.
• It is recommended to preheat the appliance for 5 minutes without food before cooking.
• Do not put a paper liner without food in the airfryer, to avoid it flying away o r b ur ning by the heating element.

1. Wash the parts of the appliance. See “Care and Cleaning” section.

2. Place the appliance on a clean, flat and heat resistant surface.

3. Place the rack (4) in the bucket (5).
   Note : Insert the rack so that the arrows point as below: Note : Do not use the appliance without the detachable rack.

4. Place the food on the rack (4) and insert the bucket (5) in the reception until it snaps into place.
   Note : Make sure the food in the bucket does not exceed the “MAX” indication.
   Note : If the bucket with the rack do not fit well into the airfryer cavity, the appliance will not turn on.

5. Plug in. A sound will be heard, all the lights on the control panel (1) will turn on for a while and then the power button (13) will remain on

6. Press the power button (13). A beep will sound, the lights on the control panel will turn on and the display will show “180 o C” and “15:00

7. Press the button of the program of your choice (see section “Programs & preset times & temperatures”).

8. The indicator of the selected program will flash and the preset temperature and preset time will appear on the screen

9. Press the TEMP/TIME button (12) until the temperature flashes on the display.

10. Press successively the “ “–” (11) or “+” (14) buttons to set the desired

13. Press the START/STOP button (15) to start the program. The indicator light of the selected program will remain on. The display screen will show the selected time and temperature and on the control panel, the temperature/time setting lights as well as the WIFI and indicators will remain on.
    Note : If you want to change the program during use, press the START/STOP button (15) without removing the bucket (if the bucket is removed and reinserted, the appliance will enter standby mode), select the new program, set temperature and time and press ST ART/STOP (15) again to start the new program.
    Note : To turn the internal light on or off, press the LIGHT button (10).
    Note : During cooking, it is recommended to stir the food in the bucket for better results: – Remove the bucket (5) turn or stir the food with plastic or wooden tools and put the bucket back into place. The program you have selected will continue.

14. When the program is finished, it will beep 5 times, display will show and all indications will turn off. The WIFI light and indicator will remain on.
    Note : If you want to stop the program before the selected time, press the power button (13).

15. Press the power button (13).

16. Carefully remove the bucket from the reception.

17. Serve using tongs.

Before serving, check if the food is cooked. If extra time is needed to be cooked, repeat the process adjusting the time and temperature. The cooking time depends on the density, thickness and moisture of the food.

Notes :

• If the device does not start in 5 minutes, it will enter standby mode. Press the power button (13) to turn on the screen again.
• Always hold the bucket (5) by the handle (6).
• When removing the basket, be careful as steam may escape.
• Do not cover the device or place anything on it during use.
• Do not fill the bucket with oil or any other liquid.
• Do not place flammable containers made of cardboard, paper, plastic and similar materials into the device.
• Do not place glassware, closed containers and similar materials that may break with the temperature.
• Do not use glass or ceramic utensils.

Tips

• Add 1 2 tablespoons of oil (depending on the amount) and stir before cooking.
• Smaller ingredients usually require less cooking time than larger ingredients.
• To ensure uniform cooking, in the middle of the cooking time, it is recommended to mix the food in the frying basket during cooking.
• Snacks that are normally baked in the oven can also be cooked in the fryer.
• Cooking extremely fatty ingredients is not recommended.
• The ideal quantity for preparing crispy potatoes is 500 grams.
• Use pre made dough to make filling snacks quickly and easily. Pre made dough also requires less preparation time than homemade dough.
• Place a baking tin or baking tray on the detachable rack if you want to bake a cake or quiche or if you want to fry brittle or stuffed ingredients.
• The appliance is suitable for heating food. To reheat your food, set the temperature to 150 for up to 10 minutes.

WiFi Connection Details
The Tuya app can be updated from the App Store and is adapted to the latest IOS and Android systems.

• When connecting, make sure the mobile or tablet device is connected to the network you want to set up.
• Make sure your device’s WIFI connection is working properly and can reconnect to your network automatically.
• When connecting for the first time, it is recommended that the air fryer and the mobile phone or tablet you will be at a distance less than one meter from the router. After installation you can place the appliance at up to 50 meters from the router. This distan ce can be affected by different conditions in the location of the device and by the range of the of the network to which the connection has been made.
• We bear no responsibility for problems caused by the Internet connection, WIFI router or other smart devices. Please contact the provider for further information.

Install application

1. Plug in the appliance and press the power button (13).

2. Search for “Tuya” app on Apple Store or Google Play or scan the QR code below.

3. Download and install the app on your mobile phone or tablet.

4. The app icon will appear on your phone or tablet screen when the installation is complete.

5. After the installation is complete, the
   Create Account process should be performed. To create an account, follow the steps below:

   • Click Agree to accept the Privacy Policy

   • The application automatically recognizes the country you are in. Fill in a valid email, check the box next to Register Agree and click on “Get confirmation code

   • A message will be sent to your e-mail with a unique code that you fill in the boxes.

   • You will then be asked to enter a personal password. After entering it, click on “Complete
     Note : The password should contain 6 to 20 characters (letters and numbers).

   • If you wish to receive updates from the application, select “Service Maintenance and Improvement Activity” and/or Personalized Recommendations and press “Go to App”. Alternatively, you can select nothing and click on “Go to Registration is complete.

Notes:

• In case the air fryer is not detected by the application At the standby mode, press the button continuously for 3 seconds until a “beep” is heard and try again.
• Only one mobile phone or tablet can be connected to the air fryer. You will be automatically logged out if another user tries to log in at the same time.

To add an appliance, follow the steps below

• Click on Add appliance
• Click on Continue
• Select your preference for app access to device location. It is recommended to select “Precise and then “While using the application
• Click on Turn on Bluetooth at the orange exclamation “!”.
• Then, click on “Go to setting and “
• The air fryer will appear on the screen. Click on “ to add the air fryer to the application.
• When the appliance has been added, the WIFI name will be displayed and you will be asked to insert the WIFI password.

Using the Air Fryer with WiFi

• Click on the icons to select the program of your choice.
• Click on “Cooking Temperature” to set the temperature.
• Click on “Cooking Time” to set the time.

Care and Cleaning

• Before cleaning and storage, unplug the appliance and let it cool down.
• Always clean the appliance and accessories after each use.

How do I clean the appliance?

Before cleaning, ensure that the appliance is unplugged and has cooled down. The detachable non-stick rack and bucket can be washed with warm soapy water or placed in a dishwasher.
