Firmware Update Guide

Computer running Windows 10 or later or macOS 10.10 or later.
The NUX B-8 wireless system.
USB-C data/sync cable(Included).
Quality USB-C to USB Adapter(If your computer only comes with USB-C ports).
Step by Step Guide

Download the firmware update kit & Install the NUX Device Updater

Download the firmware update kit from the B-8 wireless system product webpage.
2.1 Unzip the downloaded file to a directory of your choice.
2.2 Install the NUX Device Updater.? -
Put the RX(receiver) of your B-8 wireless system into DFU mode and connect it to your computer.
3.1 Runthein NUX Device Updater from the applications folder(Mac user) or the start menu(Windows), you’ll see the following interface:3.2 Enter DFU mode:
a.Press and hold the [HOME] and [BACK TO] button on the RX(receiver) of the B-8 wireless system.
b.Then, connect the RX(receiver) of B-8 with the includedDC 9V adaptor to poweriton. c.Release both buttons until you see the prompt message “(No device found)” turned into “Device Connected”, at this point the LCD of the RX (receiver) should display as below. d. Connect the RX(receiver) with your computer with the included USB cable. 3. Select the new firmware file & start to upgrading the firmware.
3.1 Select the new firmware file (the binary file with “.bin’ extension). WARNING:
Please make sure that the selected firmware is actual for the NUX B-8 wireless system. Otherwise, you may brick your B-8 or cause it to malfuction.
Do NOT unplug anything during the upgrading process. 3.2 Click “Start Update” to start upgrading the firmware. It takes roughly 3-5 minutes to finish.3.3 Once the firmware is successfully upgraded, the LCD will display “100%” . -
Finish Updating.
4.1 Close the “NUX Device Updater”.
4.2 Disconnect the USB-C cable from the RX(receiver) of the B-8.
4.3 Enjoy!
