Thank you for choosing Dr. Meter Electric Air Pump. This pump is suitable for inflating or deflating items, such as inflatable beds, inflatable cushions, swimming rings and more. Please read this user manual carefully before use and keep it in a safe place for future reference.

Safety Precautions

  1. Please fully charge this pump once at least per 6 months to ensure normal use.

  2. Do not block the inflation and deflation ports and always keep them ventilated.

  3. Select the proper air nozzle according to the size of the inflation valve.

  4. Do not use this air pump during inflating.

  5. Do not use the pump continuously for more than 15 minutes to avoid damage. After the pump has been working continuously for more than
    15 minutes, let it fully cool down for 30 minutes.

  6. Keep this electric air pump away from fire.

  7. Keep it out of reach of children under 8 years old.

  8. This device is not intended for people(including children) who have physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or who lack experience and knowledge unless they are monitored during the operation of this device to ensure their safety. Children must be under the supervision  of an adult to use this pump, and are not allowed to play with this device.

  9. Never leave this pump unattended while in use.

  10. Do not store or use it in a humid environment.

  11. Be careful not to allow sand, small stones and other foreign objects to be drawn into the inflation port/deflation port when it’s in use.

  12. Do not look into or face the inflation port/deflation port when using the pump.

  13. Do not attempt to put your hands or fingers into the inflation port/the deflation port at any time.

How to Charge the Pump

  1. Please use the provided Type-C USB cable for charging and ensure that the voltage of the USB interface is 5V.
  2. With the general USB cable, the pump can be charged in your vehicle. It can also be charged by using an adaptor with a USB interface, such as a mobile phone adaptor, power bank, computer, and so on.
  3. Charge the pump immediately when it is out of battery.
  4. This electric air pump will take 6 hours to be fully charged. When it is being charged, the indicator light is red. When it is fully charged, the indicator light turns green.

How to Inflate Items

  1. Join the nozzle to the inflation port, and then insert it in the valve. Just uncover the switch cover and press the switch to start inflation, and the indicator light is green. Press the switch again and the inflation stops.
  2. The valve of the inflatable item should not be obstructed. Otherwise, the pump could be damaged because of overheating.
  3. To inflate large items like king-size inflatable beds and air mattresses, the pump should fit directly to the valve of the inflatable item for fast inflation. Use the appropriate nozzle for the small valve.

How to Deflate Items

  1. Open the valve of the inflatable item for deflation.
  2. Join the nozzle to the deflation port, and then insert it in the valve.Just uncover the switch cover and press the switch to start deflation, and the indicator light is green. Press the switch again and the deflation stops.
  3. For the small valve, it may be pinched with your fingers to open the flapper of valve to let the air escape.

Maintenance and Storage

  1. Unplug the pump before maintenance or storage.
  2. When it’s not in use, let it fully cool down and put it in the box.
  3. Please use it indoors, and keep it away from direct sunlight or rain.
  4. Store it in a dry and well-ventilated place.
