Product Usage Instructions
Battery Mode/Charging the Battery:
- Connect the USB charging cable to the device’s charging port and a power adapter (not included).
- Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet. The LED display will show the current battery level in percentage, and the charging indicator will blink.
Mains Operation:
To use the hair clipper while plugged in, follow the same steps as in battery
mode but keep it connected to the power source during operation.
Travel Lock:
For travel safety, engage the travel lock feature to prevent accidental
activation of the device while in transit.
Usage:
Switch on the device using the power button. Select the desired cutting length
attachment and trim hair evenly in the direction of hair growth.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean the device after each use to remove hair clippings and debris.
- Regularly oil the stainless steel blade to maintain cutting efficiency and prevent rust.

- If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department or a similarly qualified person to avoid any risk.
- As an additional safety measure, we recommend the installation of a residual-current-operated protective device (RCD) with a rated operational current not exceeding 30 mA in the bathroom circuit. Your local electrical specialist can provide you with the relevant information.
INCLUDED IN DELIVERY
Check that the exterior of the cardboard delivery packaging is intact and make sure that all contents are included in the delivery. Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the device or accessories and that all packaging material has been removed. If you have any doubts, do not use the device and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.

INTENDED USE
The device is only intended for cutting and trimming human scalp hair. Do not
use the device on animals or objects! The device may only be used for the
purpose for which it is designed and in the manner specified in the
instructions for use. Any form of improper use can be dangerous. The
manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or incorrect
use.
WARNINGS AND SAFETY NOTES
WARNING
To avoid damage to health, we strongly advise against using the device in the
following situations:
- Danger of suffocation by packaging material! Keep packaging material away from children.
- Inspect the device and accessories for visible damage before use. If you have any doubts, do not use the device and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.
- Keep the mains adapter away from water.
- Risk of electric shock! Never submerge the device in water or other liquid!
- Risk of electric shock! If the device should fall into water despite following all safety precautions, immediately pull the mains plug from the socket! Do not reach into the water! Danger to life due to electric shock! Have the device checked by an authorised specialist workshop before using it again!
- If the device has been dropped or has suffered any other damage, it must no longer be used. Risk of electric shock and injury!
- Risk of electric shock! If there is visible damage to the device, accessories or mains adapter, do not use the device if you have any doubts and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.
- Risk of injury! Do not use the device if the stainless steel blade is damaged as it may have sharp edges.
- Do not use extension cables in the bathroom to ensure the mains adapter can be accessed quickly in an emergency.
- Only use the original comb attachments.
WARNING
To avoid damage to health, please note the following:
- Switch off the device before attaching or switching the comb attachment.
- Risk of fire! Ensure that no highly flammable liquids are located near the device.
- Remove all packaging material before using the device.
- Ensure that the mains cable does not pose a trip hazard.
- Only connect the device to a socket that has the correct voltage as indicated on the type plate.
- Only operate the device according to the specifications on the type plate.
- Only pull on the mains adapter to remove the mains cable from the socket.
- Never leave the device unattended while in use.
- Switch off the device after every use.
- Pull the mains adapter out of the socket after each completed charging process.
Notes on handling cutting oil
- Cutting oil may be harmful or fatal if swallowed. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting – seek medical attention immediately.
- If cutting oil comes into contact with the eyes or mouth, rinse the affected area with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention immediately.
NOTICE
- Protect the device and its accessories from impacts, humidity, dirt, marked temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight.
- Only operate, charge or store the device at temperatures from -10°C to 40°C.
Notes on handling batteries
- WARNING
- Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries. Never subject the battery to mechanical impacts.
- If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, rinse the affected areas with water and seek medical assistance.
- Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.
- Protect batteries from excessive warmth, heat and sunlight.
- Exposure of batteries to an environment with extremely high temperatures or an extremely low air pressure may result in explosion or leakage of flammable liquids and gases.
- CAUTION
- Charge battery before use. Always use the correct charger. Avoid continuous charging.
- NOTICE
- After prolonged storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the battery several times to achieve maximum performance.

INITIAL USE
You can operate the device with the battery as well as a mains adapter (not included in delivery). To charge the device, only use a mains adapter of protection class 2 ( ) which is approved for use with household appliances and with an output corresponding to the safety extra-low voltages of 5 V and max. 1 A.
Battery mode/charging the battery
You must fully charge the battery for 3 hours before the first use. The device
will run for approx. 4.5 hours when fully charged. If the battery charge level
is less than 20%, the LED display 5 will show “Lo” for “Low” and flash.
- Connect the USB charging cable 8 to the connection socket 6 and a mains adapter (not included in delivery).
- Insert the mains adapter into a suitable socket. The LED display 5 shows the current battery status in % and the charge indicator flashes.
- As soon as the LED display 5 shows “100%” and the charging symbol is permanently illuminated, the battery is fully charged. The device is now ready for use.
Mains operation
DANGER Risk of electric shock! Never use the device in the shower or in a
damp environment when it is in mains operation mode!
- Connect the USB charging cable 8 to the connection socket 6 and a mains adapter (not included in delivery).
- Insert the mains adapter into a suitable socket. The device is now ready for use and the battery is charging.
Travel lock
The travel lock prevents the device from being switched on by accident (e.g.
when being carried in a suitcase).
- To activate the travel lock, press and hold the ON/OFF control 4 for 3 seconds. The travel lock symbol lights up. The travel lock symbol flashes during activation. As soon as the travel lock is activated, the travel lock symbol lights up continuously for a short time.
- If the ON/OFF control 4 is briefly pressed when locked, the travel lock symbol will also light up.
- To deactivate the travel lock, press and hold the ON/OFF control 4 for 3 seconds. The travel lock symbol flashes during deactivation. As soon as the travel lock is deactivated, the travel lock symbol goes out.
The device can be switched on by pressing the ON/OFF control 4 again.
When the device is connected to the power supply, the travel lock is
automatically deactivated so that the device can be used in mains operation
right away.
USAGE
- Place the stainless steel blade 1 onto the device from above until it clicks into place. To remove the stainless steel blade 1 again, press it upwards with your thumb.
- If necessary, select one of the six comb attachments 2 and place it on the stainless steel blade 1 . Slide the comb attachment 2 as far as it will go along the stainless steel blade 1 . We recommend that you start with the comb attachment with the longest cutting length initially so you can then slowly work your way up to your desired length.
- Press the ON/OFF control 4 to switch on the device. The LED display 5 begins to light up.
- Guide the device slowly through the hair. Ensure that the comb attachment sits as flat on the head as possible. Always only\ trim small areas. Cut the hair against the direction of growth. If the hair grows in different directions, use the device in multiple directions.
- To switch off the device after use, press the ON/OFF control 4 . The LED display 5 turns off.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the device
WARNING
- Risk of electric shock! Always disconnect the device from the power source before cleaning it.
- Risk of fire! Do not clean the device with highly flammable liquids!
- Do not clean the device in the dishwasher!
- The device is not waterproof. The stainless steel blade 1 can be removed and rinsed under running water for hygienic cleaning.
- For thorough cleaning, remove the stainless steel blade 1 from the device by pulling it upwards.
- Leave the stainless steel blade 1 to dry completely before reattaching it to the device.
Oiling the stainless steel blade
To achieve consistently optimal cutting results, spread a little cutting oil
on the stainless steel blade 1 on a regular basis.

contact the corresponding service address (according to the service address
list) in your country. Accessories and replacement parts are also available
from retailers.
DISPOSAL
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in household waste at the end of its service life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point in your country. Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities
responsible for waste disposal. You can obtain the location of collection
points for old devices from the local or municipal authorities, local waste
disposal companies or your retailer, for example.
Used, completely flat batteries must be disposed of via specially designated
collection boxes, recycling points or electronics retailers.
You are legally required to dispose of the batteries.
The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful substances:
- Pb = battery contains lead,
- Cd = battery contains cadmium,
- Hg = battery contains mercury.
