Installation

  1. Choose where to mount the speaker. Make sure that there are no power cables, beams or anything else behind the ceiling that could be damaged. Route the wires to the location you wish to install the speaker. Carefully measure and draw a circle, 203 mm in diameter. Use the cutting template when marking the circle.
  2. Double-check the measurement and cut the measured circle out with a jigsaw, pad saw or another suitable tool. The mounting depth is 94 mm.
  3. Remove the grille from the speaker. Connect the speaker wires to the speaker. Connect the red(+) cable to the red(+) input (1) and connect the black(-) cable to the black(-) input (2).
  4. Place the speaker inside the hole. Make sure the four fixing clamps (3) stay inwards. When the speaker is in place, screw the four fixing clamps outwards and fasten the speaker firmly.

Safety information

Ensure that the impedance and power of the speaker match the power of the amplifier. If not, the equipment could be damaged or it can result in bad sound. Install the ceiling speaker according to the size of the room to ensure a good sound effect. One speaker is suitable for 10 m2, reference ceiling height is 3.5 m. Handle the ceiling speaker with care.
