IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Before using this device read the instruction manual and follow the instructions inside. The manufacturer is not liable for any damages caused by the misuse of this device due to inappropriate handling. Please keep this manual for future reference.

  • This device is for domestic use only. Do not use for any other purposes.

  • The device should only be connected to an socket with values corresponding to the values on the rating label.

  • It is necessary to check, if total current consumption of all devices plugged into the wall outlet does not exceed the fuse in the circuit.

  • If you are using an extension cord, make sure that the total power consumption of the equipment plugged into the extension cord does not exceed the extension cord power rating. Extension cords should be arranged in such a way as to avoid tripping hazards. Do not let cord hang over edge of counter, or touch any hot surface.

  • The device is not designed to be controlled via an external timer, separate remote control, or other equipment that can turn the device on automatically.

  • Before maintenance work always disconnect the unit from the power supply.

  • When unplugging the power cord from electrical outlet, hold it by the plug only and remove the plug carefully. Never pull the cable as it may cause damage to the plug or power cord.

  • Damage to the power cord or plug can lead to an electrocution hazard.

  • Never leave the product connected to the power source without supervision.

  • Never put the power cable, the plug or the whole device into the water or any other liquids. The device should be cleaned regularly complying with the recommendations described in the section on cleaning and maintenance.

  • Do not place the device near sources of heat, flame, an electric heating element or a hot oven. Do not place on any other device.

  • This equipment can be used by children aged 8 years and over as long as supervision is provided. People with reduced physical or mental capabilities, as well as people with no previous experience of using this equipment must be supervised and made aware of the risks.

  • The instruction manual should be used as a reference for the safe use of this equipment.

  • Children should not play with the equipment.

  • Children without ensured supervision should not be allowed to perform the cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

  • Additional precautions should be taken when using this device in the presence of children or pets. Do not allow children to play with the device.

  • Never use the product close to combustibles.

  • Never expose the product to atmospheric conditions such as direct sun light or rain, etc… Never use the product in humid conditions (like bathroom or camping house).

  • The power cable should be periodically checked for damage.

  • If the power cable is damaged the product should be taken to a professional service location to be fixed or replaced to prevent any hazards from arising.

  • Never use the product with a damaged power cable or if it was dropped or damaged in any other way or if it does not work properly.

  • Do not try to repair the defected product byyourself as it can lead to electric shock. Always return the damaged device to a professional service in order to repair it.

  • All the repairs should only be performed by authorized service professionals.

  • Any attempted unauthorized repairs performed can be a hazard to the user.

  • Only Original accessories should be used, as well as accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Using
    accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer may result in damage of the device and may
    render the device unsafe for use.

  • Always switch off the heater before removing the plug from the socket.

  • WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on  their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

  • Do not insert objects through the safety grill or the air inlets.

  • This product is only suitable for well-insulated spaces or occasional use.

  • Do not use this heater if it has been dropped.

  • Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heater.

  • Place the heater on a horizontal and stable surface or, if available, fasten it to the wall.

  • WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains or other flammable materials at least 1 m away from the hot air outlet.

  • The heater must not be placed directly under an electrical outlet.

  • Do not use the heater in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool.

OPERATION

Preparing the device for operation: ensure that the Main Switch is set to OFF; connect the device to a power supply; switch the device ON using the Main Switch. The device emits an acoustic signal. The stand-by indicator lights up; the device enters stand-by mode.
Press the Power Button to switch on the Fan Heater. The Fan Heater will start operating in the mostrecently used mode.

Press the Mode Button to change the mode of operation:

  1. Freezing Protection : the Fan Heater will keep the temperature in the room above 7°C to prevent freezing.
  2. Fan : the Fan Heater will operate as a fan only.
  3. Warm Air 
  4. Hot Air 
  5. Very-Hot Air  Button Function

The Fan Heater attempts to maintain the desired temperature by turning the heat on and off. The desired temperature can be set by pressing “+” and “–”.
To switch off blowing or heating, press the Power Button . The Fan Heater goes into sleep mode after counting down from 30.

To completely switch off the device, set the Main Switch to OFF and remove the plug from the socket. Oscillation: to activate the oscillation function, press the Oscillation Button .
ECO: the heating power will be adjusted to the ambient temperature and the desired temperature. The device sets its heat intensity based on the difference between the ambient temperature and the desired temperature. The device automatically changes its heating mode during operation to reduce power consumption and provide optimum comfort. Press the Eco Button to activate the Eco mode. Press the button again to deactivate the Eco mode.

Timer:
The unit can be preset with the delay switch and on and off timer.
To program a delayed start, press the Timer Button when the device is in the sleep mode. Set the time by pressing “+” and “–”: 0.5 hr. (30 minutes), 1 hr., 3 hrs., …, 24 hrs. The selected time is stored after. 2 seconds.
Press the Timer Button while the Thermal Fan is in operation to program the device to shut down and enter the sleep mode. Set the timer by pressing “+” and “–”: 0.5 hr. (30 minutes), 1 hr., 3 hrs., …, 24 hrs. The selected time is stored after 2 seconds.
The preset time can be adjusted by pressing the Timer Button and “+” and “–” or switched off completely by pressing the Timer Button twice.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning the heater make sure that it has been switched off, unplugged from the power socket.
Make sure the device has cooled down sufficiently.
Air inlets and outlets should be free of dust. Clean with dump cloth and wipe dry.
