Installation of battery

1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Identify the polarities of a 9 volts N battery and the polarities marked inside the compartment. Insert the battery into the compartment in the same direction asindicated by the marks.

The metal detector comes to you about to use. The only adjustments required are the length of the stem and the angle of the search coil.
Adjusting the stem

1. Turn the stem’’s locknut clockwise until it loosens.
2. Adjust the length of the stem so that you can walk comfortable with the search coil at optimal distance of around 1/2 to 2 inches above the ground.
3. Retightens the stems’ lock nut counter-clockwise to lock it in place.

1. Loosen the knobs at the search coil and rotate the coil angle until itis parallel with the ground.
2. Tighten the knobs so that itis just enough to keep the search coil from rotating or Wobbling

1. Press the power switch to turn on the detector. At this time, LCD displays which means the detector is ready for operation.
2. Hold the detector in a comfortable position with the search coil parallel to a flat surface where there are no metal objects.
3. Place a sample coin on the ground, and sweep the coil in a side-to-side motion to locate the sample. (Coins are not included.)
4. During searching, LCD displays When the detector finds a metallic object, beep sounds will be heard and LCD displays
5. when LCD displays , replace the battery.

Hints for searching

1. The detector comes with motion detection mode. For finding metal targets, you have to move the coil or move the metal sample above the coil.
2. Sweep the search coil in a side-to-side motion.
3. Take your time. You may miss a target if you walk too fast. Never sweep the search coil as if it were a pendulum.

2. Respect the rights and property of others.
3. Observe all national, state, and local laws while treasure hunting.
4. Never destroy historical or archaeological treasures. If you are not sure about an object you have found, contact a museum or historical society in your area.
   Leave the land and vegetations as it was. Fill in any holes you dig.

Care and Maintenance
Your metal detector is an example of superior design and craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help you care for your metal detector, so you can enjoy it for years.

1. The search coil pad is waterproof and can be submerged in either fresh or salt water. However, do not let water enter into the handle part. After using the search coilin salt water, rinse it with fresh water to prevent corrosion of the  metal parts.
2. Never attempt to recharge the non-rechargeable battery.
3. Remove exhausted battery to avoid leaking.
4. Handle the detector gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage circuit board and cases and can cause the detector to work improperly.
