PRECAUTIONS

Carefully read the following notices before operating the dehumidifier. Always observe the warnings and notices to ensure safe operation.

  1. In case of any abnormality, ensure to turn off the unit, disconnect the plug and contact the seller. (Otherwise abnormal operation may result in the unit failure, electric shock, fire, etc.)
  2. Never attempt to turn off the unit by disconnecting the plug.
  3. Never attempt to disassemble or repair the unit on your own.
  4. To avoid electric shock, only plug or unplug the unit with dry hands.
  5. The unit is powered with 220-240 VAC.
  6. Clean the power plug pins of any dust and securely insert the plug into a power outlet.
  7. To avoid fire or explosion, never spray water on the unit, and keep any flammables or chemicals away from the unit.
  8. Keep the unit away from heating appliances, otherwise the rubber parts can melt or catch fire.
  9. Never plug the unit into a power outlet with electrical ratings below those specified.
  10. The power cord must not be damaged or modified. Never put any hot or heavy items on the cord. Do not pull the cord out or bundle it during operation.
  11. Be careful not to close the door on the cord, otherwise it can be damaged.
  12. Never insert any rods or objects into the unit openings. Inside the unit, a fan is running at high speed, which will cause serious injury if touched.
  13. Remove any water accumulated in the tank. (If anyone drinks the water or uses it otherwise, this may cause sickness and/or unpredictable accidents.)
  14. Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the power before servicing the unit. Do not operate the unit with the back cover removed. When the switch is off, this does not deenergize all the loads, so there is still risk of electric shock.
  15. Install the unit according to the national wiring regulations.
  16. If the power cord is damaged, get it replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazard.
  17. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge only if they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved.
  18. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be performed by children without supervision.
  19. The unit must be used on a firm level surface.
  20. To prevent the water from freezing, do not use the unit and the drain hose at ambient temperature below 5°C.
  21. Never put any vessel contaning water on the appliance. In case of spillage, the water will get into the appliance and damage the insulation.
  22. Do not use the unit in places subject to chemicals.
  23. Do not use the unit where any leakages of oil or flammable gas are possible.
  24. Never direct the output air flow from the unit at heating appliances.
  25. Never sit or step on the unit.
  26. If the unit will not be used for a long time, disconnect the power plug for safety.
  27. Hold the power plug firmly when plugging it in and out.
  28. If the unit is used in the closet, prevent children from getting into the closet.
  29. Never remove the float from the water tank.
  30. Never pull the power cord when moving the unit, otherwise you can pull the cord out of the unit and damage the cord.
  31. Avoid blocking the air inlets and outlets. Do not cover the unit with washed clothes.
  32. In case of prolonged continuous operation, the unit requires periodical check. Pay special attention to filters and other similar parts.
  33. Turn off the unit and disconnect the power plug before any cleaning or other routine maintenance.
  34. To avoid electric shock, never sprinkle or spill water on the unit during cleaning.
  35. Prior to moving the unit, turn off the switch. While moving the unit, hold it firmly to prevent it from tipping over.

Silence mode: in this mode, the air flow speed is low, and the humidity is adjustable.
Continuous mode: in this mode, the compressor keeps working, the air flow speed is low, and the humidity is not  adjustable
Auto mode: in this mode, the humidity is automatically set to 55%, the air flow speed will automatically change based on the ambient humidity (ambient humidity>70% is considered high, ambient humidity<55% is considered low), the humidity is not adjustable

DEFROSTING
If the unit operates at room temperature below 23°C, the evaporator inside will start freezing, so the defrosting function will turn on automatically (for 5-10 minutes) at least every 30 minutes.

  • During defrosting, the unit does not perform dehumidification.

Once power supply is resumed after power failure, the “Auto” lamp will flash. Press the power button again to start operation.

The unit performance depends on the outside air. To ensure efficient operation, do not open the windows and doors frequently.

To ensure good performance, operate the unit in the proper temperature range. If the ambient temperature is above approximately 36°C, the unit will stop dehumidifying and switch to the air cleaning mode for safety purposes.

The circulating refrigerant may make noise during the unit start-up. Once the circulation becomes stable, the noise wil cease

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING
Wipe the unit with a dry soft cloth.
Cleaning

  • Before using a wet cloth to remove heavy dirt, wring it out thoroughly. Never use a wet cloth to clean the controls.

Remark. To ensure efficient dehumidification, clean the filter once a week or so.

TROUBLESHOOTING

OPERATING TEMPERATURE

5°C ≤ Ambient Temp. ≤ 32°C When the ambient temperature is outside the operating temperature range, the dehumidifier stops. When the indoor temperature is below 5°C, the absolute ambient humidity is quite low, so that the  dehumidifier cannot operate.
