Location

The fixture can be wall-mounted at a recommended height of 4.5~8 feet above the ground. Avoid mounting near heat sources or light-reflecting objects that may affect sensor range.

Installation Instructions

1. Mount the solar wall light to a concrete or brick wall.
2. Drill two 7/32-inch holes on the wall at the marked locations or use the template at the back of the light.
3. Insert plastic anchors into the holes and screw the mounting screws leaving about 1/4 inch exposed.
4. Align and place the mounting holes on the back plate of the light over the mounting screws.

Location

The fixture can be wall-mounted.
Recommended installation height: 4.5~8 feet. (1.2m~2.4m) above the ground. Environment will affect the sensor range. It is recommended not to mount the fixture near a heat source like an air conditioner, vent, or furnace exhaust, or in a direction facing a light-reflecting object. Maybe the sensor detection distance will decrease to lower than 26 feet in some special environments.

IMPORTANT SAFETY OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• This light fixture is NOT A TOY and is not suitable for children.
• We do not take responsibility if the instruction manual is not followed correctly or if the product is handled improperly resulting in damage to person or property
• The operating temperature of solar wall light is between -4º F (-20º C) and 122º F (50º C).
• Rechargeable battery only. Recycle or dispose of the battery properly.
• Do not open, short-circuit, or mutilate the battery. Injury may occur.

PRECAUTION

• This light fixture should be installed outdoors on a wall.
• Do not immerse the light fixture in liquid.

Installation

• Prior to using your solar wall light , an initial charge is needed and it should be done in the OFF position for at least three sunny days. After the third day, the included battery will be enough power for the operation of the solar wall light. Recommended installation height:
• 4.5 ~ 8 feet above the ground. At such a height, The fixture will provide a detection distance of up to 26 feet (Max) at an ambient temperature of 77 degrees Fahrenheit. The sensor will be more sensitive to motion across than motion towards it directly.

1. To mount the solar wall light to a concrete or brick wall, use the template at the back of light to mark the mounting screw locations. Alternatively, measure and mark the installation locations for the mounting screws 4.72 in. (120 mm) on-center.
2. Drill two 7/32-inch holes on the wall at the marked locations.
3. Insert the plastic anchors into the holes. Screw the mounting screws into the anchors, leaving about 1/4 inch of the screws sticking out of the wall surface.
4. Align and place the two mounting holes on the back plate of the solar wall light over the mounting screws.

How it works

Please slide the OFF-ON switch to the “ON” position before installing your solar wall light as above. While sliding the OFF-ON switch to the ON position the light will turn on and enter a “warm-up” period, the light illuminates automatically at night using an energy-saving mode of low brightness. When motion is detected at night, the light illuminates at full brightness for approximately 20 seconds. This series of linkable lights can linked together while changing the mode switch to ON mode and at the same channel. No need for link set-up in advance.
MESH LINKABLE LIGHTING Channels (CH1/CH2/CH3/CH4) Setting:
This setting is used to link the light fixture to the other Home Zone Security MESH LINKABLE LIGHTING products. You can select the same channel (4 channels option) of your others Home Zone Security MESH LINKABLE LIGHTING products to form a group, then these products will function together as a group.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The solar panel should be cleaned periodically, clean the light fixture or solar panel with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use paints, solvents, or other chemicals on this light fixture. They could cause a premature deterioration of the finish.

Rechargeable Battery

1. Use 1pc 3.7V 18650 1,500mAh Lithium rechargeable battery. For best performance, replace with Lithium battery rechargeable battery annually. IMPORTANT: Dispose of the battery in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
   IMPORTANT: When storing any solar product for an extended period, remove the battery. Storing any solar product without regular recharge or removal of battery could cause permanent damage to the rechargeable battery.
   For best performance, replace with the new Lithium rechargeable battery every 18 months. When the battery expires, it must be recycled or disposed of properly. Please contact your local waste disposal authority for the correct procedure. Do not put the battery into fire.

2. Only rechargeable batteries are to be used.

3. Exhausted batteries must be removed from the product.

4. Batteries must be placed at the correct polarity.

5. Battery replacement

6. Loosen the locking screw on the bottom of the base of the light fixture, and remove the battery compartment cover.

7. Remove the old battery from the battery compartment. Replace with new 3.7V 18650 1,500mAh Lithium rechargeable battery.

8. Make sure the polarity is correct.

9. Replace the back plate to the light fixture housing with the locking screw.
