Product Usage Instructions
Installation and Setup:
- Ensure the device is connected to a network with a DHCP server and has internet access.
- Plug the MV-1 into a PoE Switch or Injector.
- Download the PoEWit App from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Configuration:
- Assign channel(s) to a new Lighting Group:
- Click on the “+” under Lighting Groups to add a new group and discover the MV-1 channel(s).
- Name the new Lighting Group and select the channels to include.
- Edit Channel Settings:
- Click on the 3 dots next to the MV-1 channel to configure.
- Adjust settings such as Emergency Shutdown if needed.
- Setup RGB Color Segmentation for LED Strip Lights:
- Edit the MV-1 channel powering the RGB LED strip lights.
- Enable Color, select initial color, and customize colors for each segment as desired.

Question: How do I reset the default voltage on the channels?
Answer: To reset the default voltage, navigate to Channel Settings in the app and select Reset to Default option for the specific channel. -
Question: Can I control the MV-1 remotely?
Answer: Yes, you can control the MV-1 remotely through the PoEWit App as long as the device is connected to the internet.

INSTALLATION AND WIRING
- Before installing the unit:
- A. Do not cover the MV-1 or block the airflow with any foreign objects.
- B. Keep the MV-1 away from excessive heat and humidity.
- C. Ensure the installation environment is free of vibration and dust.
- D. Ensure that the cable length from the PD to the Ethernet network source does not exceed 330ft (100m).
- Select a proper location.
- Run an Ethernet cable (Cat 5/6) from your PoEWit PoE++ Network Switch or PoE Power Injector to the location selected for the MV-1 installation.
- Connect the Cat cable to the PoE-In port on the MV-1.
- Connect the output device(s) to the channel(s).
NOTE: The MV-1 has a 72W power budget and 2 channels. Each channel can run between 12V to 30V independently of the other.
Default voltage is 12V on both channels. Voltage can be adjusted during configuration.
CONFIGURATION
On a Network with a DHCP server and Internet access, the MV-1 will automatically connect to the Internet once plugged into a PoE Switch or Injector.

Download the PoEWit App from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
NOTE: The MV-1 and the mobile device running the PoEWit app must be on the same external IP address and the same local subnet. -
Open the PoEWit app and Create or Select the correct Home.

Assign each MV-1 channel to a Lighting Group as follows:
- A. Assign channel(s) to new Lighting Group:
- Under Lighting Groups, click + on the top right to Add Lighting Group and discover the MV-1 channel(s). Any channel that is not yet assigned to a Lighting Group will appear.
- Name the new Lighting Group and tap the box next to the channel(s) you wish to add to the Lighting Group, then click Save.
- B. Assign channel(s) to existing Lighting Group:
- Under Lighting Groups, click the 3 dots next to the existing Lighting Group you wish to edit, then click Edit.
- On the Light Group Settings page, click + on the top right to discover the MV-1 channel(s). Any channel that is not yet assigned to a Lighting Group will appear.
- Tap the box next to the channel(s) you wish to add to the Lighting Group, then click Save.

Configure advanced settings as follows:
- A. Adjust channel voltage:
- Click the 3 dots next to the MV-1 channel you wish to configure, then click Edit.
- Select desired voltage from the Value dropdown menu, then click Save.
- B. Setup emergency shutdown instructions:
- Click the 3 dots next to the MV-1 channel you wish to configure, then click Edit.
- Uncheck the box next to Emergency Shutdown if you wish to discontinue sending power to the channel during a power outage, then click Save.
- C. Setup RGB color segmentation for LED strip lights:
- Click the 3 dots next to the MV-1 channel that’s powering the RGB LED strip lights you wish to configure, then click Edit.
- Toggle ON the button next to Enable Color.
- Select initial color from the color wheel. It will automatically apply to all 12 segments. Uncheck the box for each segment you wish to change and select desired color. Repeat until all segments appear as desired, then click Save.
