LED IMDICATION
- 0= NRC OFF The Orange LED is lit up
- 1 = NRC level 1 One beep and the Green LED flashes once
- 2 = NRC level 2 Two beeps and the Green LED flashes 2 times
- 3 = NRC level 3 Three beeps and the Green LED flashes 3 times
- 4 = NRC level 4 Four beeps and the Green LED flashes 4 times
- 5 = NRC level 5 Five beeps and the Green LED is lit up
STEERING WHEEL CONTROL INSTALLATION
- Place the bracket on the steering wheel (see fig. A 1 and A2) in the position of your choice.
- Wrap the strap around the steering wheel. Pass the strap under the bar. Pull on it until the bracket can no longer be turned (see fig. A3).
- The streering wheel control is fixed.
If you don’t like the orientation of the buttons, you can change them (seefig.B1)
MICROPHONE INSTALLATION
Connect the microphone to your PRESIDENT transceiver (see fig. C1).
OPERATING YOUR MIKE REMOTE
CHANNEL SELECTOR:
These keys (M1/P1) and (M2/P2) move up or down a channel.
PTT (Push To Talk):
Transmit pedal (M3), press to talk. Release to receive a message.
The PTT button (P3) on the steering wheel control can be set in 2 modes:

MODE 1 (default) : Press PTT (P3) once to speak. Press a second time to receive a message.
To activate this mode: Using a paper clip, press the reset button (P4) once, then press and hold the UP button (P2) + PTT (P3) for 2 seconds. The green LED flashes 3 times and turns off. Mode 1 is active. -
MODE 2: Press and hold to talk. Release to receive a message.
To activate this mode: Using a paper clip, press the reset button (P4) once, then press and hold the DN button (P1) + PTT (P3) for 2 seconds. The red LED flashes 3 times and goes out. Mode 2 is now active.
NRC ADJUSTMENT
Your microphone is equipped with NRC technology with 5 adjustment levels.
To enter configuration mode:
- Press the DN (M1) and PTT (M3) buttons on the microphone for 2 seconds.
- The LED indicates the current level (see table).
- Use the microphone’s UP (M2) or DN (M1) buttons to change the current setting.
- If you don’t press any button for 20 seconds, you exit parameter-setting mode and save the current setting. When the setting is complete, press PTT (M3) to save and exit. A long beep confirms successful operation.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
- If the LED on the control unit flashes while transmitting, the battery runs low. It must be replaced quickly
- The steering wheel control is battery-powered. To replace it, remove the control from its holder (see fig. B1). Unscrew the screw on the back of the control (see fig. D1), then slide off the cover (see fig. 02). Replace the battery with one ofthe same type. Pay attention to polarity (see fig. 03).
PAIRING
The steering wheel control and microphone are supplied paired.
If you need to replace one of the two components, here’s how to pair them.
- Connect the microphone to your PRESIDENT transceiver.
- Press the microphone’s UP (M2) and DN (M1) buttons for 5 seconds.
- The buttons will flash alternately red and green. The microphone is in pairing mode.
- Keep the control within 5m of the microphone.
- Press the PTT (P3), UP (P2) and DN (P1) buttons on the steering wheel control simultaneously for 5 seconds. The LED starts flashing red and green. The control unit is in pairing mode.
- When pairing is complete, the LED turn off.
WARRANTY

Important:
- Proof of original purchase is required for warranty service. WARRANTOR: GROUPE PRESIDENT ELECTRONICS (“PRESIDENT”} ELEMENTS OF WARRANTY: PRESIDENT warrants, to the original user, if purchased from a retail store, that this PRESIDENT product will be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship, subject to the limitations and exclusions as set out below.
- This warranty extends only to the original user. The warranty will be invalid if the Product is (A) damaged or has not been maintained in good condition through reasonable maintenance, (B) has been modified, altered or used as part of any conversion kits, subassemblies, or any configurations not sold by PRESIDENT, (C) improperly installed, (D) serviced or repaired by someone other than an authorized PRESIDENT service center for a defect or malfunction covered by this warranty, (E) used in any conjunction with equipment or parts or as part of any system not manufactured by PRESIDENT, or (F) installed or programmed by anyone other than as detailed by the owner’s manual for this product.
STATEMENT OF REMEDY:
In the event that the product does not conform to this warranty at any time
while this warranty is in effect, warrantor will either, at its option, repair
or replace the defective unit and return it to you without charge for parts,
service, or any other cost (except shipping and handling) incurred by
warrantor or its representatives in connection with the performance of this
warranty. Warrantor, at its option, may replace the unit with a new or
refurbished unit. THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS THE SOLE AND ENTIRE
WARRANTY PERTAINING TO THE PRODUCT AND IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR ARISING BY
OPERATION OF LAW, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT
COVER OR PROVIDE FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OR PAYMENT OF INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some countries do not allow this exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to
you.
LEGAL REMEDIES:
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from country to country.
PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING PERFORMANCE OF WARRANTY:
If, after following the instructions in the owner’s manual you are certain
that the Product is defective, pack the Product carefully (preferably in its
original packaging). The Product should include all parts
and accessories originally packaged with the Product. Include proof of
original purchase and a note describing the defect that has caused you to
return it. The Product should be shipped freight prepaid, by traceable means,
to warrantor at:
